I have just been scanning back over the thread - and it is interesting to note that if anyone had listened to ii and took his advice - based entirely on his knowledge of the industry (!!!) - they would be sitting on a thumping great loss by now - as he probably is.
I on the other hand, listened to the experienced voices of Bosley, Eric, Golldfinger, driver et al - all of whom have experience in one form or other - but more importantly - a commercial brain.
I then made my own judgement - and thank god I was guided by experience and business acumen - rather than a lot of twaddle and hypothetical crap.
Well done you guys. Success favours the brave - or in this case the astute.
.... and thanks again.

Baza, I think you might have a slight confusion with another thread as Goldfinger has never been on SEO, if only he had, maybe even more would be taking this company seriously.

If you look back at the AGM comments you will see that an SEO director stated that although the Young's Fish deal extends the shelf life by one day, ie from 2 to 3 days because the there is a loss of 3 other days in the transit period, when it comes to dealing with meat the shelf life is increased by much longer, up to 10 days so the risk of waste is reduced to almost nothing from a current 20% of carcase. I would estimate that the volume of meat sales cf fish is many times greater and so the impact for Asda and their meat suppliers must be that much greater.

sharesure, how "imminent" do you think the commercial discussions are? you seem to have gleaned a lot from your visit to the agm, you said last week that seo hinted that they would wait till the election was out of the way before releasing any news. spot on!!

I will try to find out as it would not have been a total surprise to see something on Walmart even as early as this week. They have said they are gearing up to bring forward their roll out wherever they can so sp changing news from any day now on is almost 'a given'. I'll see if I can narrow that down to a more precise timetable.

Bos, did you ever come across Dave (Croc) who fathomed the bot trades? (robot)
small electronic trades to settle the market?

Isn't a small unusual amount of shares an inter market maker code to signal that a much larger transaction has been completed?
Hopefully any shorters have been silenced on this stock; any of you who are interested and want to help on GFM where there is a similar problem would be welcome; the underlying news is all good but it doesn't stop some from trying to spook the market, as we know from this stock.

Apologies Andysmith - I did of course mean to include you in the accolade - not GF (I hav done that a couple of times as I am a fan also of GF who also seems to have a good business acumen - but I do seem to mix GF and Eric up so apologies to both). Also thanks to all of the others who have made worthwhile contributions and kept this thread positive.
This is a great company - and you have all said so before - I know.

Considering going back through the posts you all were fooled by the ramping crew into thinking the first trial was complete - until I pointed it out yesterday - hence the RNS today as I predicted there would be this week - what are you harking on about :-)
Day traders have pushed it blue - thats all - and normal after an SE0 RNS spin alert.
One thing a lot of people are missing is that Azda want to spin this as much as SE0 they want to be able to claim their goods are better than anyone else a sales pitch hence the spin and no datum measuring points or clarifications on the trials and sales.
What a lot of people fail to see is that the other big guys are waiting in the wings waiting for Azda to commit and try to push their sales on such pretty seals and extravagant claims with no datums and then they will hit back what does it take to pay an independent researcher to find something wrong with RFS and food and then say well we looked at it but its got this health concern shock horror and everyone avoids Azda.
This will get very nasty if Azda continue to spin this as they are now IMO.
You can be sure that someone somewhere can find a risk in something and it only has to be able to be claimed - and not proven - to get written about all over the media.
Look at passive smoking never really proven and on the most pathetic tiny amount of research but everyone believes not that I complain about that.
Azda will be loving all the news about that RNS hoping more people go shopping at Azda but but but to be sure to be sure a nasty little something is being lined up IMO.
That is yet another reason you are still waiting for the contract to come into effect IMO there is more than meets the eye
Nearly 4M sells now - plenty of intelligent people taking profits before those terrible expected interims - they must love the spin doctors for this chance to bail out.

Still no orders - still no revenue and still going to have a terrible interim loss IMO.
SE0 need to spin it - Azda need to spin it - you notice no mention of the benefits for the suppliers anymore - they are the ones not willing to change - making no orders - yes zero orders.
You could be happy if you got an order RNS for 300 or 600 units - that would support the price to about 18p with 600 orders - but there is zero orders.
Jam tomorrow - promise to have some orders soon - trust me guv - there will be jam tomorrow - LOL
