THE TALK TO YOURSELF THREAD. (NOWT)

goldfinger - 09 Jun 2005 12:25

Thought Id start this one going because its rather dead on this board at the moment and I suppose all my usual muckers are either at the Stella tennis event watching Dim Tim (lose again) or at Henly Regatta eating cucumber sandwiches (they wish,...NOT).

Anyway please feel free to just talk to yourself blast away and let it go on any company or subject you wish. Just wish Id thought of this one before.

cheers GF.

I doubt that the amount of alcohol I drink would do much for you. I haven't had a drink since New Year's Eve (my birthday).

goldfinger - 03 Mar 2014 17:03 - 37513 of 81564

shorties right its a load of bollox, I cringed when I heard that statement from Hague, a totaly assholic statement.

goldfinger - 03 Mar 2014 17:04 - 37514 of 81564

Hays yep and pigs will fly.

Haystack - 03 Mar 2014 17:06 - 37515 of 81564

I would give serious consideration to the US and Europe threatening Russia with force and mobilising our forces. This looks like the beginning of some form of expansionism by Russia.

cynic - 03 Mar 2014 17:07 - 37516 of 81564

sticky - i only raised the sort of question an enquiring mind would or should ask

hague's remark
yes it is pretty silly, even if technically true

Haystack - 03 Mar 2014 17:09 - 37517 of 81564

gf
Just because you are a regular drinker, you should not assume that everyone is like you.

Hays just because you are an intraday drinker , you should not assume that you wont go both up and down horizontaly on your back.

Hays you are gullible where did you scrape your attack news up from.........ill guess.....
one of the 300 mates you have.

cynic - 03 Mar 2014 17:23 - 37523 of 81564

it was certainly on Sky News this afternoon, though that does not make it fact either

Shortie - 03 Mar 2014 17:26 - 37524 of 81564

Hague is just a headline grabber... Too indulged with his own self importance and speaking crap..

goldfinger - 03 Mar 2014 17:30 - 37525 of 81564

Yes indeed well said shortie. He talks through his bottom most of the time. A little similar to Cyners.

goldfinger - 03 Mar 2014 17:30 - 37526 of 81564

Cyners probably one of Hays mates who tipped SKY the wink.

goldfinger - 03 Mar 2014 17:31 - 37527 of 81564

Everybody here as a go at twitter but it gets its facts right and in a very speedy fashion too.

cynic - 03 Mar 2014 17:33 - 37528 of 81564

this sort of situation is always likely to produce rumour and counter-rumour due to the volatility of the situation

doodlebug4 - 03 Mar 2014 17:35 - 37529 of 81564

Shortie - he's a politician, they are all too indulged with their own self importance and that's one of the reasons we have this sort of stupid situation - just like we did last year with Iran. It's just a question of who blinks first, either that or some silly sod will decide to call a bluff one day and then we will be in a proper mess.

goldfinger - 03 Mar 2014 17:39 - 37530 of 81564

Yes well said doodles its all scare mongering and smearing these days.

Its getting out of hand.

cynic - 03 Mar 2014 17:40 - 37531 of 81564

sticky - the report on Sky - just seen the net - quotes both stories in the same article, so pays your money etc!
