Good evening guys and gals
I have spent the last few weeks trying to get my head around these CFD thingies!
Anyway, finally got it all set up and played a bit to get the hang of the procedure etc
Then last week I decided to buy...guess what?...SEO @ 20.25
Lo and behold this week...up and in the money as they say.
I know I don't say (print) much on this thread but I do read it every day: you are all a great bunch to whom I am greatly indebted for all the info and encouragement. So thank you one and all.
Ruthie
PS ii was squelched early as even I could see through his game

good find treikiman and well said jacks. zscrooge, you still watching the sp go on up or have you stuck a toe in?
support and resistance twice now at 20p and 23p.
support and resistance twice now at 20p and 23p.
it felt so good writing that i had to write it twice. what a wonderful day! decided i was going to play golf this afternoon. not played for a few years. got to the municiple course and found that everything had changed . they have even got a dress code, no jeans!!! so i popped into asda to buy some cheap pants and top and thought i would have a look at the salmon.asda's own brand salmon is wrapped the same as youngs salmon. seems to me that youngs like greenseal too! (eric, i think the lay off has done me good, scored 54 , only did 9 holes, but that's pretty good for me!)
sp predictions, i think, are very difficult with seo. we have all seen how the price reacts to news, good and bad. for me, the price depends on how much news flow we get. as eric said, we have got a steady flow of greenseal announcements to come, trials and deals here and america hopefully. there is also frogpack , which is getting noticed now. then there's the starch trays, which i think will take seo into another galaxy, and also anything positive from the cc will all have a very dramatic effect on the sp. so , really , it's think of a number time, all being well!!
ruthie, i broke my cfd cherry last week too. closed this morning for a nice profit. feeling like i should have left it alone. (advice appreciated from the more experienced, please)
driver, FrogPack shock-absorbing arcuate panel technology. SAAP for short. shame frogpack isn't called wrap-around, then it could be WASAAP!!!!!!

Tough FrogPack High-Impact Resistant Packaging Debuts in North America; Biodegradable Packaging Unique to U.S., Canadian Retailing Industry
ORLANDO, Fla.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--May 10, 2005--Stanelco PLC, (LSE:SEO.L), is utilizing FrogPack, a rugged, high-impact resistant packaging application to take a giant leap across the Atlantic and reach retailers and shippers in North America. Designed to withstand substantial punishment, FrogPack is expected to attract considerable attention from leading U.S. retailers, who face the challenge of minimizing breakage to goods while packaging shipping and transporting highly fragile merchandise.
FrogPack's most distinguishing characteristic is its ability to minimize and virtually eliminate damage to fragile goods being shipped to wholesalers and retailers or directly to consumers. FrogPack's energy-absorbing design, combined with Cradlewrap(TM), a biodegradable air-cushioning wrapping material that can be used within the containers, provides remarkably secure protection for goods that require shipping. Tests undertaken to challenge FrogPack's sturdiness have confirmed that highly fragile items, ranging from glass champagne bottles to sensitive electronic components, dropped from a helicopter from as high as 200 feet in the air suffered no damage or signs of their fall.
"FrogPack can take a hard punch. Retailers will be impressed when they see how much punishment FrogPack absorbs. The packaging is a superior alternative for protecting goods during shipping," said David Edwards, the inventor of FrogPack. "FrogPack's capability to protect, combined with its potential for reducing costs in packaging and shipping, is unlike anything currently in use in North America."
FrogPack utilizes a unique technology called shock-absorbing arcuate panel technology (SAAP) for its added strength and protective qualifies. The technology, designed by Aquasol, a subsidiary of Stanelco, is already in use in the United Kingdom by a packager of lighting supplies and a packager of electronic components.
In addition to its ability to withstand high-impact punishment, FrogPack possesses environmentally attractive features that will be attractive to North American retailers. FrogPack can be either recycled or composted. FrogPack's high-impact design means that the packaging, which can be manufactured on a customized basis, can be produced in smaller sizes, requiring less material and less energy in the actual production process.
"Eventually, we believe that FrogPack will replace padded envelopes and boxes that utilize polystyrene inserts and plastic air bubbles," said FrogPack's Edwards.
To acquaint North American retailers with FrogPack and attract American distributors for the application, Stanelco is launching a multi-faceted North American marketing program. Stanelco's North American rollout for FrogPack includes a direct sales effort, supplemented by direct mail, an aggressive publicity program, demonstrations of FrogPack's durability and a presence at leading U.S. retail trade shows. Stanelco has opened a North American sales office in Orlando, Fla., and appointed Stephanie Morgan-Fisher to oversee the introduction of FrogPack.
Stanelco PLC, headquartered in Southampton, England, was founded in 1953. Stanelco is engaged in the commercialization of new applications, innovations, products and processes based on radio frequency (RF) technologies. These products and services range from RF technology support for the health care industry to new product development, such as FrogPack, sealed water-soluble polymer materials, homecare applications, detergents and agrochemicals. Stanelco success continues
LONDON (ShareCast) - Stanelco (LSE: SEO.L - news) proved a hit with investors yet again after the packaging specialist said that its technology Advertisement
has been boosting sales of products.
Its new Greenseal technology has been used in a first stage full-scale production trial, packaging fresh salmon for Youngs Bluecrest, which has now been completed.
Sales of the product surged 21% over the two weeks and Asda told Stanelco that the increase was a direct result of a number of factors attributable to its technology.
The packaging is not only said to be more attractive but there were also no reported leaking packs, reducing waste at store level.
In March Stanelco announced that it had signed a binding contract with Asda for a 12-month exclusive agreement for the use of its Greenseal tray lidding technology in the UK and Ireland.

so, the great share guru reckons tom ( rhps ) will advise selling for a 50% gain?
there are 3 main scenarios that i think could be likely after bulfords meeting with hughes today.
1) he WILL recommend selling for 50% gain.
2) he MAY recommend top slicing ( ie sell half ).
3) he has just had a meeting with a guy who KNOWS how to sell his company/products.........ON THE VERY DAY OF A MAJOR RNS jammed full of good news ( not to mention hints of more imminently ). i am sure that much would have been said wrt the rns than was issued to us mere mortals. a great opportunity to make sure rhps is a buyer.
rhps had egg on its face recently, when a sell rec ( i believe ) occurred the same day as a huge rise.
make your own minds up, but i opt for 3)
