Knock three times on the ceiling if you love me
Twice on the pipe, if the answer is no
Blah, Blah

vasey - 12 Jan 2004 18:45 - 3796 of 23498

Great news, bunny! Another milestone...or should that be millstone....removed. Congratulations to the baby bunny.

Golddog - 12 Jan 2004 22:34 - 3797 of 23498

Bunny, That's good News about the driving test! However today i learned from reading my Evening paper that an old best friend of mine has been killed in a car accident! He was a nice guy too and it's a real shame for the parents. One thing is for sure is that you never know how long you are here for and should enjoy your life as much as you can. Please tell your son that Poochy warns of driving too fast and not to be stupid behind the wheel. I too have lost control and nearly killed myself crashing down an embankment but i was lucky and ever since have been sensible. Sorry to sound so morbid but my friends death is a reminder to all.

Golddog - 12 Jan 2004 22:39 - 3798 of 23498

On a lighter note robb takes the lead in the Game again and Poochy is now on top of littlewoman, bunny and Vasey. (am i a lucky doggy) :-)

stockbunny - 13 Jan 2004 14:58 - 3799 of 23498

Thank you one and all for putting up with me doing the proud Mum bit
yesterday and thanks for your good wishes.

Well done Robb and Poochy for taking the top two spots - but watch out
us girlies will be after you!!!!

The tea-rooms thread was almost off the page when I arrived today
- come on one and all, we don't want the place
to slide down to the second page!!! Besides if we don't come in
here regularly our friend Poochy will be starved poor thing of
of takings and informed civilisied conversation as only found
in the tea-rooms. All I can say is we must all be making mega bucks
if we're too busy to come and put our feet up.
((Oh I wish!!!!!))

Have a Bods on me Poochy and mine's a glass of Cab Sauv'
and sorry to hear about your friend..

optomistic - 13 Jan 2004 15:07 - 3800 of 23498

Yes I thought the Tea Rooms were staying closed today, thought it was a religous holiday or something. Invited SueHelen around for a drink, curious and all that. Keep a look out and make him/her welcome

stockbunny - 13 Jan 2004 15:35 - 3801 of 23498

Yes saw the thread but decided to not get involved!
So what you drinking Optimistic and how's your day going??

snoball - 13 Jan 2004 16:56 - 3802 of 23498

Any coffee and doughnuts left?

Socrates - 13 Jan 2004 17:03 - 3803 of 23498

Syrup sponge pudding with custard.

snoball - 13 Jan 2004 17:45 - 3804 of 23498

Without custard for me Socs. Can't stand custard.

optomistic - 13 Jan 2004 19:10 - 3805 of 23498

Hi Stockbunny,
Long delay in answering but had to leave my 'office' I have had a nice day, got well involved with THUS late last week and yesterday, feeling quite chuffed at the moment, hope it lasts. Won't have a drink at the moment popping out for one later. Buy the way no ill feelings or animosity to SueHelen just light hearted comment.
Out all day tommorrow hope you have a busier day in the Tea Rooms.

vasey - 13 Jan 2004 21:24 - 3806 of 23498

I'm back from the evening course, now clutching a bowl of dinner and a glass of red wine. Warm and happy!

Socrates - 13 Jan 2004 23:25 - 3807 of 23498

Vasey
Now I wonder what you're studying, I know, cooking!

snoball - 14 Jan 2004 11:24 - 3808 of 23498

Coffee and Doughnuts please.

little willie - 14 Jan 2004 12:26 - 3809 of 23498

Watcha snowy, builders tea, a wedge of new baked crusty loaf with a splint of mature mousetrap and unsalted butter...yummy, yummy.

Cafes empty again; I think its the am ban on lap dancers and chipperfields...
whats to do.. maybe me & socs could work out a routine?

I too have posed the question, what's Vasey studying???

Socrates - 14 Jan 2004 16:59 - 3810 of 23498

Drinks all round and a liberal dose of sherry trifle. The occasion? It's Socco's birthday. Now I know you'll all be asking yourselves "how old is he"? Well, I'm either 2470 or 62, you take your choice.

Funny old day in the market today, my portfolio is up by 1.52. can't retire on that can I?

Canberra BI6 - 14 Jan 2004 17:14 - 3811 of 23498

Socrates, whilst I'm sipping a glass of Wolf Blass Which I highly recommend by the way thought I would ask you your opinion of PTG, are we expected to witness Reheat in the near furure?.

hilary - 14 Jan 2004 17:17 - 3812 of 23498

RS2000 engine & gearbox and a new stainless exhaust, eh Jeff?

Happy Birthday, Old Socs. My money's on the 2470.
