Israeli Gaza conflict?????? (GAZA)

Fred1new - 06 Jan 2009 19:21

Will this increase or decrease the likelihood of terrorist actions in America, Europe and the rest of the world?

If you were a member of a family murdered in this conflict, would you be seeking revenge?

Should Tzipi Livni and Ehud Olmert, be tried for war crimes if or when this conflict comes to an end?

What will the price of oil be in 4 weeks time?

You are so wrong!

Yes. He is.

Gausie - 22 Nov 2010 15:03 - 3798 of 6906

Hey Haystack - we've found some common ground. Shall we build on this to form the start of a whole new era of mutual respect and understanding? Can this be the dawn of agreement, tolerance and empathy? You tosser. ;-)

LOL

About as much chance as the silly peace talks in the Middle East.

The international defense of children organization (IDC) has criticized an Israeli court verdict on Sunday against two Israeli soldiers that sentenced them to three months suspended sentence for using a 9-year-old Palestinian child as a human shield during the war on Gaza.

The IDC, a Geneva-based international movement, said in a statement on Monday that the ruling did not reflect the severity of the violation committed by the two soldiers and did not serve justice but rather provided additional immunity for Israeli soldiers when committing crimes against Palestinian children.

It said that the verdicts did not conform with Israel's commitment to the international humanitarian law and did not seriously impose protection of civilians at times of war.

The IDC, which has a branch in Palestine, affirmed that it had documented 15 similar cases since 2005 where Israeli occupation forces used Palestinian children as human shields including three cases in 2010.

The present and recent past Israeli administrations do not adhere or value international agreements, or humanitarian standards, unless they feel they are the injured party.

Hence the reason why they lack respect from the majority of the international community and gradually losing the previous support they had.

Fahel.

I hope for and expected more from Obama than he has currently done instigated.

Especially, with regard to the Middle East.

But listening to Jim Wallis, on the To-day programme this morning, you can begin to understand the problems he is up against.

450 Grooms Wed GIRLS Under Ten In Gaza
By Paul L. Williams, Ph.D.
Thelastcrusade.org

A gala event has occurred in Gaza.

Hamas sponsored a mass wedding for four hundred and fifty couples.
Most of the grooms were in their mid to late twenties; most of brides were under ten.

Muslim dignitaries including Mahmud Zahar, a leader of Hamas, were on hand to congratulate the couples who took part in the carefully staged celebration.

We are saying to the world and to America that you cannot deny us joy and happiness, Zahar told the grooms, all of whom were dressed in identical black suits and hailed from the nearby Jabalia refugee camp.

Each groom received a gift of 500 dollars from Hamas.

The pre-pubescent girls, dressed in white gowns and adorned with garish make-up, received bridal bouquets.

We are presenting this wedding as a gift to our people who stood firm in the face of the siege and the war, Local Hamas strongman Ibrahim Salaf said in a speech.

The wedding photos tell the rest of the sordid tale.

The International Center for Research on Women now estimates that there are 51 million child brides now living on planet earth and almost all in Muslim countries.

Maybe they want to breed a super race ?

Sorry, you have been conned. The mass wedding is a false story that has been circulated via email for some time now. The event was supposed to have taken place in 2009. Photos of the grooms with young girls actually show the grooms with young firls who are relatives of either sides of the familes. There was a mass wedding and almost evry girl was over eithteen with the exception of a couple who were 16.

"At such Muslim wedding ceremonies, it is a tradition for young girls to dress up and play a role in the celebrations in a way similar to how flower girls are used in Western wedding ceremonies. Although these young girls do look like little brides, they are certainly not the ones getting married."

Then the grooms, aged about 18 to about 28. They are holding hands with their young nieces and cousins, little girls aged from about 3 to 8, made up to the nines, wearing white wedding dresses.
Our report on this put it into context saying that it took place just a mile from the Israeli border and was a message from Hamas about its strength confidence and future fighters. Oh and that the brides were elsewhere. Pretty straightforward.
It never struck me for a moment that the little girls might later be described in the bloggersphere as the brides! How naive I am.
Dozens, and I mean dozens, of websites took the video of the event and wrote lurid stories about Hamas mass paedophilia with headlines about 450 child brides, and endless copy about how disgusting this was, how it showed how depraved Islam is, et al, ad infinitum. Site after site jumped on the story, linking from one totally wrong load of rubbish to the next . Ill give credit to Tundra Tabloids who at least took down the video, but most sites just ploughed on regardless.

The 450 brides shared none of the glamour, taking seats among the audience of around 1,000 party guests: most couples had already taken part in religious ceremonies elsewhere, with more marriages planned for the next few days.

cynic - 25 Nov 2010 16:16 - 3813 of 6906

plenty of old(er) men and "nieces" to be seen in London and elsewhere, and in Far East with pre-pubescents too

Fred1new - 25 Nov 2010 16:28 - 3814 of 6906

It is almost as bad as being sold weapons by the USA and using them against civilians.

Only important difference seems that one action is happening and the other didn't.

But one has the right to believe what one wants to.

Haystack - 25 Nov 2010 16:29 - 3815 of 6906

Even in the USA there are states whuich allow 13 for females and 14 for males and plenty that allow 15 for females. In almost all Muslim countries the legal limit is 16 for females and 18 for males. That includes Pakistan and most of the Niddle East. The countries that allow younger marries of 12 or lower are almost all in Africa,
