Not really, the mm's probably know less about what is going on than we do and are probably taking a position, they also are in control of the price and therefore if they need to get some shares at a lower price they have the ability to manipulate the price.
I remember buying some at the mid price a year ago at about 7.5p on a T25 from MLSB and I remember thinking the same as you, a week later I sold them for 11p, so I think they are just running a book and the actual cost to them for extended settlement is minimal.

My chin has been causing me sleepless nights for three weeks now.scratch scratch scratch-guess I must be lucky that I don't have that much of a chin to scratch.
If there is no news next week than I will have a shave.

Wyse Technology to Embed Tadpole's On-Demand Software
Cambridge - June 7, 2004: Tadpole Technology plc today announces that Wyse
Technology, a worldwide leader in end-to-end server centric access to Web
and Windows applications, has signed a technology agreement with Tadpole's
Endeavors Technology subsidiary.
Under the terms of the agreement, Wyse will embed Endeavors' AppExpress
on-demand application delivery technology into their server centric
computing solutions.
Existing Wyse enterprises will also be able to upgrade their solutions with
AppExpress technology to deliver applications on-demand to users across
their networks.
Endeavors' AppExpress typically streams computer applications on-demand from
a centrally controlled server to clients in a fraction of the time and cost
of traditional methods. It enables IT administrators to tightly manage and
control their licensing agreements with software vendors, provides
anti-piracy protection, eliminates time-consuming tasks of installing
upgrades to programs at the desktop level, and reduces bandwidth and
hardware expenditures through its compression and scalability technology.
"By embedding AppExpress on-demand application delivery technology into our
thin client framework so that only small parts of an application needed by a
user at any given time is streamed to a machine rather than everything all
at once, we continue to leverage the advantages of server-centric
computing," said Mark Calomeni, vice president of Wyse Technology. "The Wyse
and Endeavors partnership strengthens the fact that implementing centralized
IT solutions is the best answer for addressing today's critical customer
challenges."

Hope we all got up early!
We are the Wyse guys!!
Focused Expertise from Wyse
Download our company brochure and learn how Wyse offers the perfect combination of power and flexibility to empower IT and liberate users.
What is Centralized Access?
Liberate your users. Empower IT. The more you consolidate and centralize your systems, the lower your costs and the more time your users can spend being productive. Can you tap into user creativity, the web, and Windows-based software? Yes you can, with Wyse and our unparalleled focused expertise in centralized access solutions.
Why are Centralized Access Solutions Better?
Server-centric computing (SCC) is simply when you host your applications and data centrally on a server, like the old days of mainframes and text terminals. But today it is possible to run modern web, Windows-based, and Linux software, using this time-tested architecture. It is more secure, more manageable, more affordable, and more reliable than a client-server architecture (where data and applications reside on PCs spread throughout the organization). This is the simple beauty of server-centric computing.
Total Solutions from the Market Leader
There is only one company with focused expertise in end-to-end centralized access solutions for web and Windows-based applications. Our market share is dominant, our technology rich, our products and services complete and superior. When you purchase Wyse products, you are investing not just in a superior and optimized hardware and software design, but the most capable, focused, and dedicated team in the industry.

Microsoft partnership pays off!!
I like this bit.
The company has been #1 in thin-client market share for the
last seven years, and has been named Microsoft "Embedded Partner of the
Year" for three years running.

looks like evo don't want the price rising to much and have switched to the offer after the 2 large buys.
If they have clients they want to let in this would explain the large trades last week and why they want them in.

Well that's a good start to the week.
Not being a techie myself, can anyone explain what the revenue implications are likely to be?
Certainly sounds good, but sometimes difficult to evaluate the important bit on these type of deals, i.e. how much money it's worth!

Depends on the basis on which it is sold. I would expect a $ charge per client usage..Even if small, the potential usage must run into millions of end users so it is not unreasonable to says $ millions a year.
As for magnitude.. think of a range between 1 and 20 with the range starting small and growing year by year. Whether it will reach 20 or 5 or 15, only time will tell.
If it works and saves clients money then it will gain greater acceptance....and revenues will rise...

evo are doing there very best to hold the price back and I believe it is because they are short.
2.6m buys incl 700k mm buys and 500k sells, only up 1.25p which says it all really.

Have we taken the place of Citrix>
Wyse Rapport management software
With Wyse Rapport, which comes standard with all
Winterm terminals, an administrator can manage
tens of thousands of devices from one location. They
can be configured and have their firmware or settings
updated or changed at any time, and in
any order, thanks to flexible scheduling features.
Winterm thin clients are affordable, both in terms of
initial acquisition cost, and their ROI savings. Wyse
thin clients deliver an ROI of 300-800% every year,
for five years or more.
Sounds very much as if we have.
