chocolat - 23 Mar 2005 19:25 - 3805 of 11056

Sorry to hear that Stormie, and thanks mos, but it was more of a battle this morning between crashes.
18700 was my target - but I started another short when I got home at 18713. There is no plan this time :S

STORMCALLER - 23 Mar 2005 19:55 - 3806 of 11056

chocolat,
So was I, what a moron! In return for your kind words, and in lieu of recent events, I think it only fair to warn you I also have cable short.....are you really sure you want to do this...:-)

hodgins - 23 Mar 2005 21:26 - 3807 of 11056

small long with 30 stop from 675, last line in the sand, due a bounce even though I am sure it's going to 510 after that.

chocolat - 23 Mar 2005 21:37 - 3808 of 11056

Certainly looking that way. Took some off at 670 earlier, but I'll leave the rest for now.

edit: added at 18700

cunningham - 24 Mar 2005 16:47 - 3811 of 11056

mos, do you have the link to the web site?

Seymour Clearly - 24 Mar 2005 17:43 - 3812 of 11056

Cunningham, click on the link to the BBC website, then there's a link bottom right of that page which takes you there.

cunningham - 24 Mar 2005 19:35 - 3813 of 11056

Found it, thanks.

STORMCALLER - 25 Mar 2005 01:33 - 3814 of 11056

Extraordinary week, managed to stop myself out of big gain, and managed to lose money on a cable short, as an aside also managed to lose 15 points on a dow short, and make 35 points on a dow long, funny game, bloody glad it's the weekend..

Sue 42 - 29 Mar 2005 18:36 - 3815 of 11056

haven't looked in for ages - but where are all those nice links? when did they go? Where can I find the daily cable pivots???

chocolat - 29 Mar 2005 19:30 - 3816 of 11056

Ahhh - cheers whoever did that :))
Must've been the fx fairy.

MightyMicro - 29 Mar 2005 20:00 - 3817 of 11056

Choccy: I'm not sure about the fairy bit . . . ;-)

Sue 42: Hi, long time no post. You'd need to ask Hilary why she changed the header and she's skiing right now.

Cheers

chocolat - 29 Mar 2005 20:18 - 3818 of 11056

Well, was it the munny monster then?
Cos it's gone again.. :S

Edit: Ha! Now the trick is to sit on it..

MightyMicro - 29 Mar 2005 20:41 - 3819 of 11056

Choccy: The FXCM link is slightly unreliable, and I can't work out why. Sometimes it seems to need a couple of refreshes to render . . . the link is correct, but FXCM are a bit random with the naming of it.

STORMCALLER - 30 Mar 2005 01:48 - 3820 of 11056

Sitting on a short EUR/CAD @ 50 don't ask why....it's not boring like cable..:-)
And a short EUR/USD @ 14 to test THE principle.
Waiting for opportunity to set automatic trade test but can't find it tonight as seriously f***ed off with isp and ran out of time.

mg - 30 Mar 2005 16:49 - 3821 of 11056

GBP/USD has been a no-brainer long/buy on dips since Monday. Guess who has been trying to short it ;(

Only passing through - and forgot to thank Hilary before she went on her skiing holidays for some excellent research/posts. Maybe she'll have a look when she gets back/over a glass of Gluwein.

[PS - maybe this time Rodders - short today @ 803, 820 and 831 ;(( ]
