Canberra BI6 - 14 Jan 2004 17:14 - 3811 of 23498

Socrates, whilst I'm sipping a glass of Wolf Blass Which I highly recommend by the way thought I would ask you your opinion of PTG, are we expected to witness Reheat in the near furure?.

hilary - 14 Jan 2004 17:17 - 3812 of 23498

RS2000 engine & gearbox and a new stainless exhaust, eh Jeff?

Happy Birthday, Old Socs. My money's on the 2470.

:o)

Socrates - 14 Jan 2004 17:49 - 3813 of 23498

Hilary
Terrific, I knew I could rely on you to cheer me up.

B16
I don't think so, but you never know. I think PTG will be a long slow grind with occasional backfires along the way. I did my training on a Canberra, got called a smart-arse by the examiner for finding the fault before I was supposed to. Had to do a second test, that's justice for you! Then he tried to sell me insurance, cheek!

little willie - 14 Jan 2004 19:03 - 3814 of 23498

Well done Socs, pull up an armchair, grab a pint of shrimps, get that 'feel
good factor' and polish it all off with a gurt big bowl of champagne flavoured trifle.
Warm yourself on a woman, there's one coming to the boil in the corner.

BLOODY HELL...................HOW OLD?????????????????????????????

Socrates - 14 Jan 2004 21:54 - 3815 of 23498

little willie
Thanks, sorry for delay but I have just returned from trolley racing at Tesco. Also done some system maintenance, update firewall, anti-virus full scan, delete temp files etc etc.

hilary - 15 Jan 2004 08:10 - 3817 of 23498

And I thought that was going to be your new set of company wheels, Jeff. I'm disappointed now.

I could just imagine you and Mrs Mack tripping the light fantastic down to Camber Sands in your Anglebox.

:o)

stockbunny - 15 Jan 2004 13:34 - 3818 of 23498

Blimey littlewillie as shot up

the leaderboard.

This_is_me - 16 Jan 2004 10:03 - 3828 of 23498

I'm tempted to make a naughty joke about little willie suddenly shooting up behind naughty bunny girl but I'm much too polite so instead I'll offer belated congratulations on the old socks on surviving another year with only a couple of new holes needing darned.

Well it is time for breakfast; doing a few trades is hungry work!

snoball - 16 Jan 2004 14:53 - 3829 of 23498

coffee & doughnuts please, please, please....
there seems to be an echo in here.

who has licked all the sugar off the doughnuts?

stockbunny - 16 Jan 2004 14:58 - 3830 of 23498

Well I am quite relieved This-Is-Me that you managed to keep
your humour within bounds as on seeing the leader board today
I thought with a wince "Oh Boy they are going to have a field
day with this!!!" (lol)
Thank you Socs - have some more trifle! Yes I will completely
and unashamedly admit to falling in the eccentric catagory and
to prove it I am going to drink my glass of Cab Sauv' sipping it
off a spoon whilst humming "Stairway to Heaven".....
