That's more like a Julian Clary Fairy than the Forex Fairy, if you ask me MM.

Still playing with cabley shorts and waiting for a catalyst - either way.
At this rate, it looks like it may come Thursday. :S

Hotei - 05 Apr 2005 10:39 - 3836 of 11056

choccie - I'm playing with cabley longs - I guess either works while it's in this range

Bobcolby - 05 Apr 2005 11:02 - 3837 of 11056

Choccie Is that BOE interest rate on Thursday. Because it is odds on to stay unchanged and may already be discounted

chocolat - 05 Apr 2005 11:15 - 3838 of 11056

Isn't it fun, Hotei ;)
There's loadsa figures on Thursday, Bob...should be fun. And shouldn't you be away smacking a little ball somewhere?

Bobcolby - 05 Apr 2005 13:45 - 3839 of 11056

Tomorrow is Golf Choccie. I dont think I will be trading much on Thursday because we are off to Sorrento on Friday and I have to get some posing gear and cash. A higher authority has banned laptops on holiday :))

Hotei - 05 Apr 2005 14:04 - 3840 of 11056

Choccie - I've moved to the short side, contrary as ever ;-)

chocolat - 06 Apr 2005 13:21 - 3841 of 11056

Cockle shells over on this side, Hotei :)
Have a great trip, Bob.

Hotei - 06 Apr 2005 14:14 - 3842 of 11056

After a misguided short at 18777 yesterday, stopped out at 18804, short again this morning at 18819 and out now at 18760 - currently undecided but favouring a long.

So, choccie, that'll be pretty maids on my side ;-)

chocolat - 06 Apr 2005 14:42 - 3843 of 11056

It did get a bit ugly yesterday afternoon ;)
Got stuck in with my wellies again this morning though.
I'm out too, but I can wait :)

Maggot - 07 Apr 2005 08:21 - 3844 of 11056

Got a nice short running on /Yen from 204.35. Unfortunately it's tiny.

hilary - 07 Apr 2005 08:54 - 3845 of 11056

Maggot,

Be careful with that short. I know that the 204/205 region proved to offer stiff resistance throughout last summer and again last December, but for now the dailies show that Sterling Yen is still going up.

I don't know what you're looking for out of the short and you may well be happy with what's already on the table for all that I know, but I suspect there'll be no shortage of dip-buyers looking to push it up.

chocolat - 07 Apr 2005 09:43 - 3846 of 11056

Hotei - which way up did you have your pretty maids?

Divetime - 07 Apr 2005 11:18 - 3847 of 11056

Morning all Just looked in, why is cable dropping so much

Maggot - 07 Apr 2005 11:24 - 3848 of 11056

hilary. Thanks. I normally take just a few points, but have moved my stoploss down so currently I'm 50 points guaranteed in profit. Only 1 a point! I know it's tiny, but that way I never lose enough to make me lose any sleep. It looks like stalling now, though, so I'm thinking of covering at 50-ish.

Maggot - 07 Apr 2005 11:26 - 3849 of 11056

Covered at 203.53, for +82.

Hotei - 07 Apr 2005 11:33 - 3850 of 11056

choccie - didn't, left them flat, all in a row. However, short from 8811 this morning and out at 8791 rather too soon. Currently looking for a long.

chocolat - 07 Apr 2005 12:11 - 3851 of 11056

Still short from 18845 - glad I waited. :S
