Hi everyone,
Does anyone know how I can complain against my broker?

I have an account with saxobank, they made mistake in applying corporate action which resulted in my loss.. While I was in contact with their UK branch, they asked a debt collector forcing me to pay. By the time I received the letter, I have four days to pay them.

I complained again, but they say it takes three weeks to process, and no one in the UK branch can help and they do not give me contact details of people in Denmark.

Any suggestions? what can I do?

phone saxobank uk and/or denmark and demand to speak to a director, and don't take no for an answer.

if that gets you nowhere, then suggest you get your solicitor to fire off a formal letter immdiately to both uk and danish banks

Their mistake resulted in Margin Call, and losing so much money.

that's a load of bullshit!
you need the organ grinder and tell the numpty receptionist or whoever they put you through to, that legal action could be instigated imminently so it behoves them to put you through to a director
don't forget to get all names and rank as you get passed along the line, and remind them that you are keeping a log of the call(s)

don't put up with the usual rubbish and delaying tactics!

If you are sure of your position, then solicitor.

Contact by e-mail and phone.


Telling them that you are recording the conversation and "gently" informing them of the facts. (If you haven't taping facilities pen, paper and pencil will have to do.)

If you are trading by inter-net then ask them for a copy of the times, sizes and directions of your transactions. (Normal trading pattern,)

Ask them for time to consider their information and stating that you will reply in specific time period.

But bear in mind the outlay of doing the above.

What does it mattter what he does with his money now He made it starting and running a successful business. He is now enjoying his money. Do you begrudge him his money? That looks like envy. Maybe you should look at sportsmen lik footballers. It is all market forces. The father of one of my son's fiends sold his business for £32m a few years ago and he put it into high value property. Good luck to him. He still works as the MD of the company that he sold out to. He is now worth £100m+.

Any way Hays he didnt make his money by starting up sports direct he was loaned private money from influential big wig freinds (some say underground crooks) and opened ski shops in London.
