Not too many doughnuts. Just a few jam ones, chocolate, custard, round and glazed ones. No Jeff, that means glazed with a candy coating, not with windows!

little willie - 16 Jan 2004 20:48 - 3839 of 23498

Wotcha all,
Did anyone watch the South African Golf Open on Sky today.
Oh no you say, oh no says I 'cos I was on several times with mrs.lw the obligatory 5 steps behind laden with rucksack full of thermos cold drinkies plus loads of sunblock etc.
"For Gawds sake woman, keep up" I thought.
"Why am I carrying this, you old bugger" she thought!!!*
She doesn't often think swear words, I think [therefore I am] [[where is this going?????????]]

What book opens with "It was the best of times, it was the worst of times"?

Dawg of Brass...re comments about my coming with a spurt up the leaderboard, you aint seen nuthin yet. today was another humdinger and luckily its happening in the real world as well; lucky boy that I am, unashamed pure luck of course..........

Socs.. sounds like you'll need a bidet...

snoball - 16 Jan 2004 20:59 - 3840 of 23498

A tale of two cities, lw.

jeffmack - 16 Jan 2004 22:04 - 3841 of 23498

LW
Was that Osama Bin Laden. Wondered where he had got to

Socrates - 17 Jan 2004 09:11 - 3842 of 23498

Good morning campers.

jeffmack - 17 Jan 2004 09:43 - 3843 of 23498

Morning Socs, a nice cold sunny one

Socrates - 17 Jan 2004 09:48 - 3844 of 23498

Good morning Jeff. Before you ask I haven't forgotten the whirleybird. Are you at work or relaxing with a laptop?

jeffmack - 17 Jan 2004 11:10 - 3845 of 23498

Not relaxing. Got a couple of estate agents coming to value the house, so tidying up.

little willie - 17 Jan 2004 13:20 - 3846 of 23498

Afternoon all.
Give snoball a toffee apple for getting full marks and give Jeffers the used stick when licked clean!

Jeffers, sorry to hear you're being repossessed but there is a life after mansions, also I think you've been possessed before!

Tidying up sounds cool, did you finish the pond, kitchen, plumbing, bricklaying et al?
Whats the house selling market like over there now? On the up or a struggle?

Ah well, back to the swimming pool......

This_is_me - 17 Jan 2004 17:04 - 3847 of 23498

I see that class is finally showing in the game - top 5 places to the men!!

Jeff Has the DIY bug really bitten? After all the work you did on your house are you looking for a run down wreck to rebuild as in one of those TV programmes?

jeffmack - 17 Jan 2004 18:45 - 3848 of 23498

Tim
Got my eye on a gaf in Norfolk, actually two gafs. The main house has an attached cottage that is rented out during the year. Might be out of my league, so just looking at the figures.

Socrates - 17 Jan 2004 20:56 - 3849 of 23498

Jeffmack
I hope you're not leaving your house because of your DIY! You can join the Norfolk mountain rescue team.

This_is_me - 17 Jan 2004 21:58 - 3850 of 23498

Sounds good jeff - put the children in the cottage and live in the big house!

little willie - 17 Jan 2004 22:22 - 3851 of 23498

Yo Jeff, go for it my boy, you could become the "Singin Postman Jnr", go roundabouts 'Narfuck' singin "Have you gotta loight buoy?" [its the way they tork] [[mrs lw is from Suffolk-close enuff!]]

I expect the cottage is for mother-in-law...luvvly jubbly....

Guess who's snapping at the dawgs wotsits in the game....
I'll have him, mark my words!!!

Socrates - 18 Jan 2004 00:01 - 3852 of 23498

I'm afraid I would never live in Norfolk (again). Too many shotgun deaths for my liking. Now it's bed time, so goodnight all. See you all for big brekkies in the morning.

stockbunny - 18 Jan 2004 10:50 - 3853 of 23498

Ah Jeff Mack - quite correct a boomerang that doesn't come back is a stick
so you had the same box of crackers at Christmas as I did it seems!

Congrats Poochy Pup on top again!
I'm a slipping backwards hanging onto Jeff mack's shirt tails to
stop me from falling into SnoBalls head - good job you buy
quality clothing JeffMack, there's a lot riding on the strength of your
shirt mate right now!!

OK Pass the Twiglets please....

snoball - 18 Jan 2004 13:35 - 3854 of 23498

went to local Asda yesterday......no twiglets!

stockbunny - 18 Jan 2004 13:54 - 3855 of 23498

Just not good enough!!! Change shopping venue immediate-mont
for Tesco - a woman must have her weekly ration of twiglets!!!

Have a good afternoon - off to get done what must be done...

Socrates - 18 Jan 2004 14:41 - 3856 of 23498

Is it called Twiglets now?

stockbunny - 18 Jan 2004 16:49 - 3857 of 23498

For some women it's chocolate...for me it's twiglets!!
My, it is very slow in here today - I know it's Sunday but
everyone must be off enjoying extended lunches or visits
from relatives or visits to the local DIY store......
That even makes my ironing seem vaguely interesting!!!
