Kayak,

Thanks for highlighting that validation issue. It is now fixed.

I've tested the shorting issue you describe. You can not buy back more than the inital 100k you started with as this would leave you with a negative balance which is not allowed during play.

Karl.

? I mean I shorted 6,443 and wanted to buy them back. This is perfectly OK of course, it does not leave you with a negative balance, just less than 100k. In the event it would only let me buy back 6,410 so the remaining 33 had to be a second trade.

My entry is shown as valid but i do not appear on the league tables ?
i should be around 70ish
any ideas ?

IanT(MoneyAM) - 24 Oct 2005 15:27 - 387 of 550

adicoleman,

The tables don't update immediately, they do so every half hour, so you will appear after the next update on the tables,

Ian

Thanks Karl

SEADOG - 25 Oct 2005 08:56 - 391 of 550

Ian,
If the tables of current prices are only updated half hourly why say fifteen minutes. I have been waiting for my prices to update since open ......SD

IanT(MoneyAM) - 25 Oct 2005 09:00 - 392 of 550

Seadog,

The prices in your account are delayed by 15 mins as stated - it is only the league tables which update at half hourly intervals

Ian

SEADOG - 25 Oct 2005 09:04 - 393 of 550

Ian ,
I note they have been updated now, thank you

SEADOG - 25 Oct 2005 09:19 - 394 of 550

Ian
still NOT updating every 15 min..........SD

IanT(MoneyAM) - 25 Oct 2005 09:24 - 395 of 550

Seadog,

Just so you know (you probably do so forgive me is that is the case) it is not a streaming screen, so you will need to refresh it to see any changes. I am looking at your account now to see if I can see it change - I will report back,

Ian

IanT(MoneyAM) - 25 Oct 2005 09:26 - 396 of 550

Seadog,

Seems to be fine here - just watched your account and saw movement on the 3rd stock you hold - upon refresh,

Ian

jimmy b - 25 Oct 2005 10:00 - 397 of 550

One of mine does not change every 15 minutes ,and i have been skipping between sites .Actually it doesn't matter so long as you know where you are at the end of each day.

IanT(MoneyAM) - 25 Oct 2005 10:02 - 398 of 550

jimmy,

I will take a look at your account to see if I can replicate this,

Ian

jimmy b - 25 Oct 2005 10:04 - 399 of 550

Sorry Ian i just refreshed and your right .

IanT(MoneyAM) - 25 Oct 2005 10:05 - 400 of 550

jimmy,

It would also appear that the MM's have not changed their quote on either of your positions since 9.07am and 9.14am respectively,

Ian

SEADOG - 25 Oct 2005 10:06 - 401 of 550

Ian,
Sorry, I did not know you had to refresh the screen to get the changes............SD

hewittalan6 - 25 Oct 2005 10:07 - 402 of 550

The quotes were;" I don't think thats possible" and "That would be illegal in Kentucky after sunset on a Friday". They were reading the Kama Sutra at the time.

jimmy b - 25 Oct 2005 10:08 - 403 of 550

It was stuck 5p below the current bid Ian,, not to worry i know how to do it now, just refresh..
