Referendum : to be in Europe or not to be ?, that is the question ! (REF)

required field - 03 Feb 2016 10:00

Thought I'd start a new thread as this is going to be a major talking point this year...have not made up my mind yet...(unlike bucksfizz)....but thinking of voting for an exit as Europe is not doing Britain any good at all it seems....

Nicola Sturgeon has been refused a meeting with the EU commission, the
commission said it was inappropriate at this time.

In other words 'Don't phone us we'll phone you'....

Fred1new - 28 Jun 2016 19:13 - 3844 of 12628

We will meet in the Snug.

Fred1new - 28 Jun 2016 19:19 - 3845 of 12628

Farage's "last laugh".

I don't think those in the UK who know they have been deceived by lies are laughing now.

It reminds me of the days before Kristallnacht.

Fred1new - 28 Jun 2016 20:24 - 3847 of 12628

Nicola Sturgeon has asked for a meeting with the EU commission and has been told NO, it would not be appropriate.

Armstrong on Scotland:

......."Scotland would sacrifice the bulk of its trade with Britain for an over-regulated, pretend common market. Give me a break. According to figures released in January, Scotland’s non-oil and gas exports to EU (other than the UK) were £11.6bn for 2014. Now, let’s put that in perspective. Scottish exports to the rest of the UK were £48.5bn. Trade with the UK has increased in the past year by 3% on the year while it declined 8% with the EU (excluding Britain). We clearly have politicians destabilizing markets with total bullshit for they do not understand anything."................

Let's be honest guys Fifi Sturgeon is a chancer (as they say up here in Bonnie Scotland). She can preen and witter as long as she want"s. The Scots are not suicidal. Ok! It may well be temporary, but the Markets are not rolling over as predicted by the doom and gloom merchants!

As far as Freda and this so called Kristallnacht. What a plank! Is the Stalinist Jezza still clinging on? I do hope so! LOL!!!

courtesy of reuters, a small extract ..............

Poland, Slovakia, Hungary and the Czech Republic called on Tuesday for the powers of the European Commission to be reined in after Britain voted to leave the EU, with Warsaw calling for the dismissal of Jean-Claude Juncker, the executive's head.
