Thought Id start this one going because its rather dead on this board at the moment and I suppose all my usual muckers are either at the Stella tennis event watching Dim Tim (lose again) or at Henly Regatta eating cucumber sandwiches (they wish,...NOT).
Anyway please feel free to just talk to yourself blast away and let it go on any company or subject you wish. Just wish Id thought of this one before.
cheers GF.

You are the lucky one because it is every financial news, news in America etc., with American speaking voices all the time which would do anybodys head in. Volume down is the only answer - right, left or middle clicking will not get rid of it.

You said you use a 2 - 2 system for SB's , what would be best for CFD's ?

Exactly the same alders. Same for normal investing.
Risk/Reward system.
A lot of top traders and fund managers use the system.
Alpesh Patel introduced me to it when I was on a Institute of Traders seminar. Mind it is covered in some trading books aswel. Come Into My Trading Room.....covers it or something very similar.
Their is a mathematical formula ......... T=PR/(E-X) where T is the size of the trade, P is the portfolio size (cash plus holdings), R is 2%, E is the entry price and X is the pre-determined stop-loss exit price.
PS, dont forget though where most use 2% I use .75% and it makes it a lot more sensitive to price movement but it suits my style.

Cyners you may be right.
I think ive got a bit stuffy just lately as this last year I havent really had a holiday or much time off and my mothers been rather ill which means Ive had todo a lot of traveling at awkward times during both the night and day. Im going to sort that soon and take her indoors to the holiday home in Malta.

Im not really bothered where I go at the moment, a fortnight in blackpool would do me.

i've never been, but have started to develop a couple of clients over there, so i thought it a good excuse to visit
depends on you and your mother's needs (in the broadest sense)
you could do worse than Nice, or if a bit warmer, then perhaps Seville or Barca or even Naples, none of which require too much flying time

In France more than twice as many rely on foodbanks than do in the UK. The Trussell Trust runs 400 foodbanks and provides 2,500 tons of food. They certainly don’t run all the foodbanks in the UK but they probably run most of them. In France it’s 100,000 tons from over 2,000 foodbanks. Is that because the Socialist Government there does not care about the poor? Difficult to see how this fits Labour’s narrative.

Hey Chris I wish somone got a selfie of me on the canal bank when it went off earlier today.
Its a wonder I didnt end up in the water.
Total quiet and then BLAST, wow that was some shock.
Thought Id tuned into the MISSING PLANE i was literaly shaking trying to find what the hell it was on the lap top. In the end I just closed everything down and logged back onto IG for prices, didnt know it was here until I got back home.
In hindsight rather funny, I bet if someone had been with me theyd have cracked out laughing at my reactions.

If i had £10,000 cash and i opened a spreadbet of £100, T=PR would be £10,100 and a 2% stop loss would be [ e x ] 100 minus 20 = 80
Am not very good at maths , is this right ?
