Referendum : to be in Europe or not to be ?, that is the question ! (REF)

required field - 03 Feb 2016 10:00

Thought I'd start a new thread as this is going to be a major talking point this year...have not made up my mind yet...(unlike bucksfizz)....but thinking of voting for an exit as Europe is not doing Britain any good at all it seems....

Apparently Nicola Stugeon IS going to Brussels to see Juncker...

He has some ironing for her to do...

Crabb must be the choice for most leavers as he says Immigration control is a top priority .

VICTIM - 29 Jun 2016 08:26 - 3871 of 12628

He looks a bit like Russell Crowe .

iturama - 29 Jun 2016 08:31 - 3872 of 12628

I thought he was dead. Disappeared in Portsmouth harbour while snooping around a russian cruiser.

See them jumping up and down like spoilt children at the EU last night because they can't have their way with Britain any more .
And a mass of people converging on Westminster carrying banners , i wish they would get over it .

Also Alastair Campbell standing their talking Britain down ,complete parasite who along with Blair opened the door to all and sundry .

VICTIM - 29 Jun 2016 08:52 - 3874 of 12628

I'm fed up of the TV media coverage , any opportunity to have a bash at leavers they jump on , it's embarrassing , I watched similar to you jimmy and felt they are stirring things up just for air time .

jimmy b - 29 Jun 2016 08:55 - 3875 of 12628

Also i'm afraid being played for all it's worth is the race card ,i'm really fed up with that.

VICTIM - 29 Jun 2016 08:58 - 3876 of 12628

Contrasts that with the attempt to keep quite about the rapes and sexual assaults that happened in the German cities over new year , because they were migrants .

jimmy b - 29 Jun 2016 09:03 - 3877 of 12628

Yes ,makes me sick ,last night was about Muslim women being verbally abused in the north ,nothing to do with the referendum but now being linked to it.

grannyboy - 29 Jun 2016 09:51 - 3878 of 12628

Its all about brainwashing, On ITV teatime news last night the presenter
said the market had made a recovery and had risen 1% on opening...

She didn't say the market had closed UP over 2.60%..And in the same slot
they had a report from a bus somewhere in Birmingham and was asking
those who had voted leave if they regretted their decision, of course most
of them said they did. It didn't show you those(except one ,see below) who
would vote LEAVE no matter how many times there was a referendum..

And the funniest was when they asked the bus driver who could hardly speak
English and he said yes I voted LEAVE because there is to many immigrants
coming here...LOL!

jimmy b - 29 Jun 2016 09:56 - 3879 of 12628

All these kids demonstrating outside Westminster ,i have a good idea if your not happy with the way the country voted and you love Europe so much why not go and live there ,plenty of room .

VICTIM - 29 Jun 2016 10:04 - 3880 of 12628

I wonder if any leaver in any of these media outfits gets the cold shoulder from their remain co workers , it would be nice for someone to report on what's gone on behind the scenes .

grannyboy - 29 Jun 2016 10:10 - 3881 of 12628

Well there was talk at one time, and i almost fell for it, that Jeremy Paxman
was a Brexiteer..But then i saw his performance on the CH4 pro-eu debate on
the night before the referendum, when Paxman let the 'remainer's' have the run
of the whole debate..It was the most disgustingly BIASED piece of shit i've ever
had the misfortune to witness...

VICTIM - 29 Jun 2016 10:13 - 3882 of 12628

I agree totally granny unashamedly biased .

Haystack - 29 Jun 2016 11:02 - 3883 of 12628

Crabb won't win and wouldn't win a GE. He is very religious and is anti gay marriage and abortion. You couldn't get elected wit those views.

grannyboy - 29 Jun 2016 11:34 - 3884 of 12628

Its been confirmed that Chinese technology company Huawei's planned
1.3 BILLION pounds investment in the UK will go ahead despite the Brexit
vote...AND THE REMAINER'S SCAREMONGERING AND THREATS OF FOREIGN
COMPANIES NOT WANTING TO INVEST IN THE UK.....

Aston Martin(as posted on another site)Have also said they're investing 200
million pounds in the UK...

New Zealand/Australia are also keen to open up a trade dialogue...

iturama - 29 Jun 2016 11:41 - 3885 of 12628

I suspect if gay marriage went to a referendum, it would be overruled. It was never in the Con manifesto. Cameron is more liberal democrat than Conservative. The fact that the proportion of MPs that are homosexuals or lesbians is well above the national average may have influenced that move. Religion is a private matter. Crabb may be a good man but he doesn't have name recognition.

grannyboy - 29 Jun 2016 11:57 - 3886 of 12628

That's the only thing the snake oil salesman will be remembered for,
Gay marriage, the only promise he didn't break..

Maybe he's a secret shirt lifter.....Whatever!

Fred1new - 29 Jun 2016 13:16 - 3887 of 12628

I would suggest some of those can read and think, read the following:

Merkel, Hollande, Tusk, Juncker: all holding consistent top line - NO single market access without Freedom of Movement.
