Free real time prices

I wonder if Barclays Stockbrokers are live, don't think they are but will investigate.

Barclays has live prices, but I can't see Volumes etc.

The said new platform is ?????????????

I have an account with Charles Stanley and that's live but it times out, that's why I have Money AM.

Is that the same on Barclays Fred, times out?

I don't know.

I have a number of ISA through Barclays, but gave up using them for info, at the time of the platform changes. It is getting a bit pricey.

I liked MAM and may use it, but like sharepad and Sharescope and use them for normal investing.

Also, find CMC for share betting and like in general its Charting and prices etc.

But will miss MAM.

Had a closer look at Barclays.

Seems to have everything which Momneyam has except BBs/

The problem is its layout for me is inferior, but maybe I am beginning to dislike change.

Some of the features are interesting.

A live stockwatch as well?

Is the 'live' stockwatch and RNS alert buttons working over on Shares because it isn't for me

Nor for me foxman!

They didn't say what time on the 20th. I would have thought at the start of trading but obviously they are still working on it.

So the SW on Shares appears to be limited to 5 columns.
mid ... chg ... % ... bid.....offer.

I would like to see
cum.vol ... t.price ... t.time .... trdHI .... trdLO .... close ... open....
%spread .... buy vol .... sell vol.

Also some colours for up/down/no change

It's a pretty limited picture, so imagine if it doesn't improve there will be a mass exodus when the 9quid deal expires
