can someone please explain what a protected trade is as we have a few this week?

Not holding out on you, but when I invest, I do as I am sure you all do, open up all sorts of leads to get good info. I have not been able to find out when an announcement on the first order will be made as I am sure the company doesn't even know that yet, it just seems very likely that it will be sooner rather than later. Not too helpful at this stage; as I said before on here, this company now has the potential to spring a very pleasant surprise at any time from here on. So far, prior to announcements, the company has managed to prevent leaks very successfully since the sp immediately prior has not ticked up noticeably.

Bos - it's a buy or sell from a protected portfolio.

i.e. an insitution's trades which are kept hidden from the order book for as long as possible so that they avoid moving the market with their trade and hence slashing their bargain/profit when they have further chunks to trade.

The RHPS weekly update from Tom Bulford was very bullish - two pages of comment on SEO alone - following his meeting with Howard White. Plus a general comment about some small company unit trusts having to sell shares to repay unit holders who want to liquidate their holdings - his view of why some stocks are experiencing weakness at the moment. Just a buying opportunity for the rest of us, although the sp of SEO is likely to respond well anyway tomorrow to the RHPS update.

look for blue tomorrow....it wouldnt be fair to rhps subscribers to post the email ( even though i believe emails are deemed to be in the public domain ).

let us just say that howard did a good job.

an increase in buy limit plus a corresponding target ( and its MEGA )

so, the great share guru reckons tom ( rhps ) will advise selling for a 50% gain?

there are 3 main scenarios that i think could be likely after bulfords meeting with hughes today.

1) he WILL recommend selling for 50% gain.
2) he MAY recommend top slicing ( ie sell half ).
3) he has just had a meeting with a guy who KNOWS how to sell his company/products.........ON THE VERY DAY OF A MAJOR RNS jammed full of good news ( not to mention hints of more imminently ). i am sure that much would have been said wrt the rns than was issued to us mere mortals. a great opportunity to make sure rhps is a buyer.

rhps had egg on its face recently, when a sell rec ( i believe ) occurred the same day as a huge rise.

make your own minds up, but i opt for 3)
