How would you like to trade a market where you get large regular price swings every 10 minutes in the afternoon, seven days a week. A
market where all prices are set purely by supply and demand, few transaction costs, no middle men and you only pay commission if you win? Where you can freely act as a market maker and where you have direct market access and where you can create a spread for others to take?
Betfair has revolutionised the betting market and created an open platform for exchanging risk on sports events. This market is now viewed much more like a traditional financial risk market than an old fashioned betting market. Smart users have realised that there are huge opportunities on Betfair because they can buy and sell risk in much the same way they would in a normal financial market but without the burden of cost or the restricted access that is usually associated with traditional financial markets.

BBLB tomorrow night, nominations are announced on Tuesday. On Monday they merely give extracts of the diary room nomination footage, normally the ones that are obvious anyway.

The mutated, drug-resistant "superbugs that cause an increasing number of hospital infections and deaths can live for weeks on bed linens, computer keyboard covers and under acrylic fingernails, U.S. researchers reported on Monday.
The study supports other research that shows super-strict hygiene is needed to battle the bacteria, some of which are now nearly impossible to kill even with the strongest antibiotics.

I'm not really a watcher of Big Brother but have been monitoring the eviction odds throughout the morning. It was interesting to see Science's odds shorten from 2.9s all the way down to as low as 1.88.
Nominations were made last night but won't be revealed till tonight. There are punters on the betfair forum who feel that there's lots of insider trading going!
We have someone at our workplace whose a BB fan. She seems to think that Science will go if nominated. She's been right with previous evictions and I hope she's right this time cos I picked up Science at 2.7.
Will probably take a bigger interest in BB as I'm always willing to jump on any money making bandwagon!

Science can be quite entertaining at times but all Craig does is cry.

Kayak, Totally agree with you.
Science is now at 1.54/1.57.
Maxwell's odds came in quite dramatically in a very short time.
My BB fan here tell's me that if it's between Science and Maxwell then Sc is a definite goner

... and Maxwell and Science it is. Science nailed on to go unless Maxwell does something an order of dimension more gross than normal.

Best market to trade today has to be the 2012 Olympic hosts market. Decision will be made at 12:46. Lots of movement is expected on the market as the whiter than white IOC lets nothing leak ;-)

My Betfair connection is naff again today, screen takes about 10 minutes to load. No problem with Bet Angel so it appears to be the main Betfair page again. Can't figure out what the problem is.
