Angus and Ross (AGU)

lex1000 - 03 Jun 2004 00:30

Excellent speculative punt sub 10p.

markusantonius - 02 Mar 2006 20:59 - 39 of 84

OK, it's in my 'Watch' List, Queenie.

queen1 - 20 Apr 2006 19:34 - 40 of 84

The market liked today's news:

Angus & Ross PLC (AGU) ("Angus & Ross" or the "Company") is pleased to announce
the exploration programme for its Black Angel zinc/lead property in West
Greenland.

The three-month programme will include:

* 6,000-7,000m of diamond drilling in 7 target areas;

* Reinterpretation and computer modelling of old data;

* Geological mapping of areas uncovered by melting of ice and snow;

* Airborne geophysical survey;

* Environmental Baseline Studies.

queen1 - 24 Apr 2006 15:24 - 41 of 84

Away we go!!

queen1 - 25 Apr 2006 13:37 - 42 of 84

Heady days for AGU - Is anyone else enjoying the ride? :-)

queen1 - 09 May 2006 14:04 - 43 of 84

Obviously not. Oh well, you won't have enjoyed the break through 20p then!!

markusantonius - 10 May 2006 23:56 - 44 of 84

Roman Boy is back, Queenie / are we going stop arguing since we are both hedging for the same (winning!) team, this time? :o)

38p. min. was tipped by Teather & Greenwood last weekend. Looking good now as things are actually starting to materialise.

queen1 - 11 May 2006 12:18 - 45 of 84

25p. Well I've doubled my money now so am glad I showed faith through the darker days. RB - Happy for any holders of any shares to provide informed opinions. Best of luck with your ride.

markusantonius - 11 May 2006 12:39 - 46 of 84

Well done, Queenie. Hope you haven't sold all of your holding though because TA analysis (plus fundamentals) would suggest the upward trend will continue. Somewhere along the line, profit taking is innevitable, of course. But the future looks very promising for those who have "kept the faith!".

markusantonius - 11 May 2006 13:18 - 47 of 84

26p and still going sum................................................................ In a profit, at last, after more than 4 long years of suffering! :o)

queen1 - 11 May 2006 15:26 - 48 of 84

No, haven't sold any yet.....

queen1 - 11 May 2006 19:21 - 49 of 84

....and good job too. Stunning day.

markusantonius - 11 May 2006 23:56 - 50 of 84

Wise lady. BTW I have read several "independant" research notes on AGU and all (4) are extremely positive about the future. T&G's 38p short term valuation is actually the lowest of all forecasts! With things actually HAPPENING as we write, AGU is rising on fundamentals instead of hype (unlike many of its sector rivals). HOLD! :o)

markusantonius - 18 Jul 2006 01:09 - 51 of 84

I sold out the other day - needed the funds! Are you still holding, Queenie?

argos7 - 25 Aug 2006 23:20 - 52 of 84

anybody got any news on agu, i am in for a long term hold!

laurie squash - 21 Sep 2006 21:35 - 53 of 84

Great RNS and no response. Lets hope the market work on a slow burn of confidence instead.

argos7 - 21 Sep 2006 21:47 - 54 of 84

its still early days for the results, looks promising though considering contrators are on site looking at road construction seems a big clue, i was getting worried that the share price has dropped since agm sept 1st, i am in for the long term but where is the money going to come from to start the project?

laurie squash - 25 Sep 2006 22:38 - 55 of 84

They may well cut a deal for shares for the contractors.

argos7 - 27 Sep 2006 21:05 - 56 of 84

the share price is dropping like a stone at the moment, not many shares being sold though!

argos7 - 28 Sep 2006 22:37 - 57 of 84

argos7 - 16 Nov 2006 18:20 - 58 of 84
