Zambezi Nickel- another mineral gold mine or not? (ZNI)

Tonker - 03 Feb 2006 13:05

I am interested to hear what has to be said for/against Zambezi Nickel. Very new company to the market... Nickle is used to make stainless steel, think this could push up price. This link will give you an idear of nickle prices at the mo http://www.kitcometals.com/charts/nickel_historical_large.html#lmestocks_6months
Sorry no charts need to work out how to do that! New to the market, but it has two great mineral deposites (according to Investors Chronical)...
Mitaba Prospect:
The Mitaba Project occupies a total strike length of 11 kilometres, within which occur two main complexes of successive ultramafic (komatiite) lava flows, 3.3 kilometres apart.
Paulwi Prospect:
The pear-shaped Paulwi intrusion has been gravity-differentiated into a gabbroic upper portion of 3,000 metres depth and basal serpentinised dunite portion of 2,000 metres depth... [goes on to say] comparable to the deposit being mined at the 11 million ton per annum operation at Mt Keith, Western Australia.

Foale, is it really? I'm not a fan of efficient market theory. Quite content to wait and be proven wrong, but if I was a fund manager and felt like making a quick buck, I would.

However, I do seem to recall that Zambezi Resources is scooping up half of the placing shares, which implies it's in for the long term, so maybe there won't be that much movement after all.

Good luck to all.

I think its peaked.

RAS - 24 May 2007 14:51 - 42 of 54

It has now.

Time to get into SER lads for the big news due there shortly.

RAS
This was on my watch list for two days, and I still missed it.

RAS - 24 May 2007 15:07 - 44 of 54

So did I. But it's easy to lose on these big risers as well, ie if bought at 10p+ today.

I've got a feeling SER might surprise a few people with the imminent update.

(sorry O/T)

Thinking the same thing looked a bit ify at 13p it had to come down.

cynic - 24 May 2007 16:00 - 46 of 54

bloody hell ... could buy the whole company from petty cash!

RAS - 24 May 2007 16:35 - 47 of 54

Reached 10m market cap, cynic.

cynic - 24 May 2007 16:46 - 48 of 54

ok ... so do it on your cc then!

soul traders - 24 May 2007 19:16 - 49 of 54

I don't believe it - I could have bought at 9p this morning and still made a profit!

Tomorrow will be interesting, though.
Good luck to all.

Cynic, if your company has 10 mil in petty cash, can I come and work for it? (I am sure you can make use of a German-speaking, wheelchair-bound ex-banker with severe RSI in one hand!?)

cynic - 24 May 2007 20:17 - 50 of 54

severe RSI from dipping in the till?

cynic - 24 May 2007 20:19 - 51 of 54

RAS .... i may not be much chop at maths, but it's better than yours ..... try <4m

soul traders - 24 May 2007 20:22 - 52 of 54

Cynic, er . . . . Yes, that's precisely it! (And not what you previously accused me of spending my time doing - LOL!!!)

Okay, enough hilarity. Got to get away from this computer. Going for a walk. Night-night, and may we all have a prosperous trading day tomorrow!

cynic - 25 May 2007 08:14 - 53 of 54

have a good one soul* .... glad you are out of your wheelchair ..... really must stop being so idle and make the effort to come down to the south coast, if only to visit Studland Bay beach!

i shall actually be enjoying the sunshine, the golf and a good convivial lunch at Wentworth today.
