logic for buying HBOS was as follows ......
HBOS down 25% compared to LLOY doen 18% ..... differenetial was greater eariler.
LLOY currently 272, so on original terms of 0.83, conversion = 226
If terms dropped to the mooted 0.60, then conversion = 163
I bought (this time) at 173

exactly that ..... hats off to Bernanke who said several months ago that one of the main causes of The Depression was inaction by central gov't and that he would not allow that mistake again
