Has Ashley lost it ? Or did he ever have it?

Treblewide - 08 Dec 2010 11:55 - 392 of 6918

wow...ridiculous

hilary - 08 Dec 2010 12:24 - 393 of 6918

Hey, Pardew's got a proven successful track record of taking sides into the Championship.

I thought, at the very least, he'd try for Martin O'Neill.

Gunners one up I see....would be good to have all four clubs in the next round....

Dil - 08 Dec 2010 23:20 - 395 of 6918

Problem is Treb that those 9 Scots would have been playing first class football for English teams in days gone by before the foreign invasion (mostly no better than we already have in the UK given a chance).

That's why England will never win the WC and Scotland , Wales and N Ireland will think its xmas if they ever qualify for one.

I see the nonsense at Newcastle has been confirmed, on a 5 and a half year contract no less as well -):

Treblewide - 09 Dec 2010 14:38 - 397 of 6918

honestly that is one of the worst and most confusing things i have seen happen in football.....

every day my interest for the game lessens.

ridiculous....although easy money now on newcastle getting relegated either this year or next

Any thoughts on the Tevez saga LOL, for once it is possible that the football club may just be bigger than the player, I hope so. Let him sulk. Money no object (unfortunately) for the club. Obviously he will be missed but they can replace him, if he is not playing he will in the end be the loser. Time these gobshites and there agents were reined in.

daves dazzlers - 13 Dec 2010 15:08 - 401 of 6918

Wales unveil ex-captain Gary Speed as new manager.

After Pardew, another odd managerial appointment.. where's Dill?

Dil - 16 Dec 2010 01:22 - 404 of 6918

I'm not dissappointed Stan , imo its the best we could have done given our limited dosh.

Who do you think we should have got it ?

First game in Cardiff v England , hmmmm :-)

Dil - 16 Dec 2010 01:23 - 405 of 6918

... win that one and its a job for life :-)

Stan - 16 Dec 2010 14:22 - 406 of 6918

"Who do you think we should have got it ?"

As a biased view (BFC connection) I would have liked to have seen Flynee been given more of a chance, but whoever manages these smaller country's national sides I think that they are all on a hiding to nothing and the sack is more inevitable then when managing a club side.

The thing about the Speed appointment is that he has very very little actual managerial experience and not been doing very well at Sheff. Utd.

Time will tell as usual.

No outstanding team this year in the premiership......still think that this could be the Gunners year but it will be tight at the top come may....

HARRYCAT - 01 Jan 2011 13:46 - 408 of 6918

Man City on a roll atm. Very tempted to have a bet on Bolton to beat Liverpool today at 9/2.

required field - 02 Jan 2011 10:54 - 409 of 6918

Hope you did not.....took a risky bet on ManU away.....was a bit lucky on that one (makes a change).....

HARRYCAT - 02 Jan 2011 11:17 - 410 of 6918

No, I didn't in the end. Money saved. But Liverpool only just managed to clinch it in the 92 min.
Chelsea should win to day. Wigan v Newcastle at bit more tricky to predict. Home win, imo.
