An interesting and positive move:
Entertainment Rights said it has appointed former Disney Publishing Worldwide president Deborah Dugan as chief executive and president of its North American operations, effective May 15.
ERT, which acquired Classic Media and Big Idea in the US earlier this year, said it is looking to expand the enlarged portfolio in the US with Dugan on board.

Entertainment Rights widened its first half pretax loss saying the strength of the sterling against the US dollar impacted the first half, but added it is on course to meet its full year expectations. The company recorded a pretax loss of 7.26 mln stg for the period to June 30, 2007, from a loss of 3.45 mln stg a year earlier.
Revenue almost trebled to 17.3 mln stg from 5.9 mln stg, impacted positively by the acquisition of Classic Media in January this year. Chairman Rod Bransgrove said the company's financial performance is traditionally weighted towards the second half. He added that the company is well positioned to strengthen its presence in the US.

Could Postman Pat be about to leave Greendale for delivery to a new owner?
Fat cats want Postman Pat, or so the Telegraph suggests:-

I'm not surprised there's some bid interest here. The company owns some major children's brands and at these sub-10p prices they're a steal.
