ASOS: BUY AT LOW PRICE!!!! (ASC)

wilco99 - 12 Sep 2003 15:52

ASOS have dropped quite significantly in the past week for no particular reason and I view this as the perfect opportunity to invest as I can see them bouncing right back up to the 5.50p mark in the next 2-3 weeks. STRONG BUY!!

cynic - 24 May 2012 12:38 - 3911 of 5941

i don't and i have never called myself an expert ..... as you know, i have never liked this stock - don't like the product; don't like the rating - and steer well clear of this middle-range fashion industry

if i bought into any such retail, which i have not, i guess i would go for Next (NXT) which finally seems to be getting its act together

and of course i would never be embarrassed to bank respectable profits nor would i be so pathetic as to resort to stupid ham-pidgin english

cynic you must have very long legs as he has been pulling them for so long.

cynic - 24 May 2012 12:51 - 3913 of 5941

mr muppet quite probably just runs a cyber portfolio ..... i watch ASC because it never ceases to amaze me

tomasz - 24 May 2012 12:56 - 3914 of 5941

mr muppet again?...well, you will have to come up soon with something stronger baby... cause youve been beaten again..well , to me is more like again and again and again...lol

tomasz - 24 May 2012 13:03 - 3915 of 5941

You got to give it to him, seems far from a muppet at the moment. 10% up on the day.
lol

skinny - 24 May 2012 16:43 - 3918 of 5941

Yes - if nothing else, its an amazing share to watch - I think I'd rather trader the DOW - less volatility! :-)

dreamcatcher - 24 May 2012 16:51 - 3919 of 5941

He is brave skinny. If the results had gone the other way well anyones guess.
The company must have something to defy the times we are in. Perhaps good buyers and people ordering clothes over the net.

skinny - 24 May 2012 16:54 - 3920 of 5941

They do seem to come up on more of the my searches recently.

dreamcatcher - 24 May 2012 16:57 - 3921 of 5941

Perhaps another day for cynic to have his day. lol Afraid the company is doing well at the moment in time.

cynic - 24 May 2012 17:05 - 3922 of 5941

i'm delighted for them but as i have often said, i just don't like the company for all sorts of reasons

tomasz - 24 May 2012 17:06 - 3923 of 5941

as i checked all years back , business never gone wrong in its history , so to come up with idea that something is wrong you have to be just plain anus. is that simple . lol

dreamcatcher - 24 May 2012 17:12 - 3924 of 5941

Your setting yourself up to be hammered the day it does. :-))

dreamcatcher - 24 May 2012 17:16 - 3925 of 5941

May not have gone wrong as you put it but sp has taken a bashing from August 2011.

cynic - 24 May 2012 17:40 - 3926 of 5941

as mr muppet never actually declares when he sells (if ever) or when he buys or when his positions get closed out as they were the other week, it becomes very easy to declare yourself the bee's knees

dreamcatcher - 24 May 2012 17:44 - 3927 of 5941

He may not even have any Asos shares cynic. lol Thats why he never gets it wrong.
Just a thought. :-))

dreamcatcher - 24 May 2012 17:54 - 3928 of 5941

Right wind up merchant. lol

tomasz - 24 May 2012 18:05 - 3929 of 5941

Sure, problems are everywhere.growth will mature too to some 10%.no doubt.but not now and next few years.and yes sp had correction but then again that was normal proces after mr market over excitement.those things happening in market.
