just a thought and no more than that, but, seo being the canny bunch that they are, would tomorrow not be a good time to release an rns to coincide with the rhps buy tip?

EWRobson - 12 May 2005 23:21 - 3934 of 27111

Well! I dunno - come in after a good curry. Find the mice have been playing party games! Mind the 50p party can't be far away. Got the 50p/20p in 10 seconds flat. Sorry that the third i was spotted as I thought we had seen a Damascus Road experience - funny enough, Don Q is off to Israel so may not be accepted in Syria without a bomb; now there's an idea!

Nothing in the swear box tonight - could be a dry do in Doncaster.

EWR - two posts for you today - the first is an answer to a question raised elsehwere and the second a comment on tippety tip - rampety ramp - spinnety spin.

A copy of a reply to Runnett -

Runnett - although most seasoned investors would factor in the very high risk - even RHPS classes SEO as high risk and thats why had the buy limit at 18p - 18p would be reasonable is Asda threw in 600 machines and Frogpack took off and generated some decent sales - however this is all pie in the sky - a company is judged on now - today - with a slight bias of what tomorrow will bring. The sad fact is that owing to some - how to say - manipulation may be the wrong word - there are a lot of not so seasoned investors who might be throwing money at this believing that its all going to happen - and that is the danger. This is obviously the case as the share has moved against RSI - this is the factor generated by certain posters and their wild figures and statements.

You would notice that SEO started as "Biodegradable Packing" is the thing (if you notice my post on Sharp Interpak they are already doing this) - this then moved to RF sealing is the thing - and now it switches to Frogpack is the thing - this kind of hype supported by - and yes there is one - a ramping team - has led to a lot of inexperienced investors getting into SEO and not knowing that potentially there is a high risk that it will fail and not deliver and could end up trading anywhere between 4p and 18p.

If you sat a lot of people down and said this is high risk and could revert to 4p - they would not believe you - but it is true.

Although with SEO I may take an OTT view sometimes - to counter the ramp OTT view - the basics remain that this has risen against RSI - is extreme high risk - and potentially can fail.

In a scenario - and its only a scenario - if the Asda deal is delayed further - or minimal machine conversions - and Frogpack does not take off - and BPRG win xM damages for breach of confidence and SEO are ordered to pay over 1M court costs - this could put SEO into a very bad way - forcing more fund raising/dilution even perhaps filing for BK.

They appear to have minimal revenue stream from their apparently shrinking core business and growing expenditure. They are trying to be inventive and following the Tetrapak model - but for what real reason. I suspect something else and the association with the Tetrapak model is a key element of that something else.

If SE0 are following this route and acting in a civilised and respectable way - I have no problem with that - and wish them all the best.

I do have a problem with the ramping thats gone on - and that is why I raise research links to counter this - and also question anything that appears spin.

From an old RNS it says they are in negotiations - now it says that there will be imminent commercial discussions - what does this mean ? That the broker forecasts have been made up as if you have not had commercial discussions how do you know the cost - margin - amount of machines - what and when and how.

I am also extremely disappointed by PM1 claiming his contacts - email and phone calls to Tony at Asda - that to me is not on. If the project were being handled in a respectable way then there would be confidentiality until every trial was finished and a commencing dated contract in place. That PM1 appears to have knowledge not available to the public - and uses this to gain "some" credibility about being able to predict RNS dates and their contents - stinks - as this also allows him to make many false claims - but from this "street cred" the not so wise investor will jump in on him claiming anything - you can see it all over the web with comments of "I believe you Paul - you are always right" - however he has been a proven liar on certain points.

I am not saying there are - but would not be surprised to find later in time that there was some things going on that should not be.

As we stand now - I am sure you can agree Runnett - that SE0 is still all jam tomorrow and the cupboards are bare today - that they are appealing against a ruling for breach of confidence with BPRG which MAY result in costs/fines in excess of many millions of pounds - and that this is a very high risk punt that can seriously go wrong.

I would not rule out a fund raising around interim time - which may also be the same time potentially Asda will place "some" machine conversion orders.

I have nothing against SE0 at all and do hope they have success - I do have a problem with a ramping team and potential - not saying there is at all - manipulation.

insiderinside - 13 May 2005 04:25 - 3937 of 27111

I do hate all this driving - getting up early in the morning - its a real pain.

I see from posts that Tom at RHPS has decided that the spin and ramp merchants will be trying their best in the coming months and has reported lots of "ifs" "possible" "maybe" "could" and raised the buy limit a little. Maybe it was PM1 constantly emailing him with his "research" ? It still remains fact that orders and revenue and the basics of investing like PE - Profit do not come into it. Mind you I believe the portfolio is down - negative - and there are quite a few dogs in there like ARX - BGP - MPH so its not that surprising to try and run with the rampers and spinners on this one. I am told there is also no mention that Oscar Mayer tried the RF sealing last year and did not proceed with it - or mention of the pending court case with BPRG - or the new laser sealing news - why is that ? Afraid it may raise questions in peoples minds ?

I find it most disturbing the posts elsewhere that the new SE0 web site is linking to Paul Mastersons site - is this true ? If it is then this must be new depths of a low to go to - and that confidence in the way forward is low. The next thing you will see is BT linking to population surveys saying if over 5 billion people in the world had a BT line then their profits might be much higher - rampety ramp - buy - or perhaps Ford Motor Company linking to the same site saying with all these people in the world then their car cales could be much higher - buy. If its true it would be a sad sign - and people can read through that - is it true ?

The other interesting item is the 4M protected trade at the end of the yesterday day - that would surely be a good investigation target over any manipulation - if there is any - with a tipsters tip being released later. This kind of manipulation would involve a late trade to suck up MMs stockpiles to force them to open higher on a tipsters tip - to give an unreal short term boost to the price to allow people to sell off at higher levels - before the fall down again a few days later - if there were any kind of manipulation going on of course - not saying there is.

It still remains a fact that the price has risen from 4p purely on speculation - tips - a very good ramping team - some Israeli links that on one seems to want to comment on - hype - spin.

If anyone can tell me whats changed from the below in terms of revenue and contracts with money paid already - please let me know -

2004-10-13
Again on the upside, Stanelco edged up 0.25 to 4.37 after the company revealed its radio frequency (RF) sealing technology will be trialled for use in the tray-lidding machines at Oscar Mayer's food packaging operations.
If the trials are successful, the technology will enter into full-scale production across Oscar Mayer's entire range of tray-lidding machines in the UK.
Oscar Mayer, which supplies over 3 mln ready meals a week, has 30 tray-lidding machines in three locations in the UK.

And what happened next - nothing - they could not get orders from the food packagers direct - so tried to go above them and get someone to tell them to change - oh dear - must be something wrong with it or OM would have loved it !

I also find it most flattering with someone making up names like insiderlnside and insideinsider and trying to pretend to be me - imitation is flattery - thanks - this kind of thing shows that there are some seriously worried people out there who do not want me unspinning all the spin.
