ASOS: BUY AT LOW PRICE!!!! (ASC)

wilco99 - 12 Sep 2003 15:52

ASOS have dropped quite significantly in the past week for no particular reason and I view this as the perfect opportunity to invest as I can see them bouncing right back up to the 5.50p mark in the next 2-3 weeks. STRONG BUY!!

LONDON (Dow Jones)--U.K. online fashion retailer Asos PLC (ASC.LN) will open marketing offices in New York, Paris and Berlin in the next three to six months, Chief Executive Nick Robertson said Thursday.
The company, which recently opened a marketing office in Sydney, said each office will have a team of between five and 10 employees.
"This year is about supporting the territories where we have websites," Robertson told Dow Jones Newswires following the firm's earnings. "Behind the scenes of all of that, [we are] building the technical capability to handle all language sets, predominantly Russian and Chinese, ... you can expect us to follow up with teams in those two markets as well," he added. Robertson expects this work to be completed in about 12 months, but added that it is hard to say when exactly potential new websites in Russia or China could go live.
Asos already has websites targeting customers in the U.K., U.S., France, Germany, Spain, Italy and Australia.
The company expects trading conditions in the U.K. to remain challenging, but Robertson said the company will focus on international growth. International retail sales accounted for 59% of total retail sales at the end of March compared with 43% last year and the company expects the percentage of its revenue coming from overseas to continue to rise.
Earlier on Thursday the company reported a sharp rise in full-year profit and said international retail sales more than doubled compared to a 7% rise in U.K. retail sales.

tomasz - 06 Jun 2012 15:26 - 3944 of 5941

Oh yea..you would cut yours..and rather whole head off..for sure..just if you could manage be man enough to put your money where your mouth is.

cynic - 06 Jun 2012 15:59 - 3945 of 5941

i have long posted here that i think this company's rating is preposterous ..... i have traded it a couple of times, but doubt if i made much money out of it as i find its gyrations impossible and usually without foundation ..... thus common sense tells me to avoid, just as i do WOS whose timing i can never get right

jkd - 07 Jun 2012 00:22 - 3946 of 5941

genuine and serious distribution took place between 22 and 24 price in may july 2011
everything else is simply trying to claw it back and recover.
the recovery was halted by yet further distribution in18 and 19 price range in feb 2012
price still remains volatile but i dont yet see any genuine re accumulation, just lower failed high reactions after distribution has taken place.
further accumulation is required over time ,in my opinion if price is to rise and hold that rise. meanwhile, failing that, my price target is in region of 770 longer term. but subject to volatillty and big price gyrations and swings. best avoided . in my opinion
regards to all
jkd
ps and addendum the distribution is taking place during rising prices on the failed rallies, in my opinion. thats why they are failing, more sellers(distributors) than buyers.(accumulators) untill that changes price will continue downward. all just my opinion please dyor

WOODIE - 07 Jun 2012 08:07 - 3947 of 5941
