We had this discussion last night about putting the report on the board, and I agree that we should not, investors have to pay subs for this information if it became common knowledge the minute after it came out there wouldn't be any such reports in the future. I have read it and its very bullish. (I do not subscribe).

Very funny insider "1" inside - your flattery of copying my name is such a compliment and makes it obvious to the readers here - most of who do not post - that the ramp crew is getting obvious worried and resorting to all tactics. You should realise the more you cannot post fact - orders - revenue - profit - the more you resort to this kind of thing - the more obvious to normal people that severe ramping and spin is going on ! Try to remember that.

In defence of PVC by Dale Hambilton
PVC is an excellent sleeve material, as are PET and OPS. As a sleeve manufacturer, Decorative Sleeves is committed to delivering an appropriate packaging solution for every customer. This means selecting the most suitable material for each application; in many cases this will be PVC.
In recent years there has been a noticeable resistance to PVC from several customers, largely because of PVC's poor environmental reputation and the negative, and frequently inaccurate comment that it seems to generate in the media. It is time to set the record straight.
In June 2004 the European Commission published a review of more than 100 PVC environmental life-cycle studies, comparing PVC products with alternatives.

The review concluded that the substitution of PVC is not recommended in any application and, from an environmental standpoint, that there is no reason to treat PVC differently to other materials.

The fact is that if any material is scrutinised closely, as PVC has been, then room for improvement can be found. The PVC industry has responded to this scrutiny by putting an environmental improvement programme in place.
The industry is increasing the amount of PVC recycling through the Vinyl 2010 initiative, and the United Nations Commission on Sustainable Development has now registered Vinyl 2010 as an official partner.
Today the amount of PVC recycling is limited by the amount collected, rather than any technical limitations relating to recyclability.
PVC, in common with most other plastics, contributes to energy recovery programmes and waste can be managed safely by controlled combustion or landfill disposal.
Once the environmental arguments are overcome, PVC can compete against other sleeve materials on a level playing field. All have different strengths. PVC is easy to control during the shrink process and cost-effective, it has good scuff resistance and is available in pasteurisable grades. PET offers a higher percentage of shrink, which is an advantage in some applications, and may also be pasteurised.
OPS is appropriate for some types of squeezy containers because its lower vertical shrink properties may give a more consistent finish in certain applications.
There are no simple answers as to which material to choose. It really does depend on the requirements of each product or pack. However, none of these materials should be selected solely on the grounds of their perceived environmental advantage over the others. Remembering that, and countering other misinformation about PVC, will enable manufacturers to consider and specify the material with a clear conscience.

how come nearly every thread has a resident doom monger, posting 24/7, and ALWAYS with no interest in the stock they deride?

there may be the odd philanthropist eager to save us poor souls from ourselves, but basically i really dont see the point.

Just to let you know that we do monitor this thread (and all others). We have today removed a poster who was trying to be clever by creating a user name mimicing someone elses.

We take these things pretty seriously and as we have done in the past, we will not hesitate to contact their IP provider or workplace(if using a work email) to ensure that their IP address is blocked so that such a breach does not occur again.

Got to say i agree with you bosley, i posted something on the rampers thread but got steamed in to by some one,, it seems this is ok for one , but the joker who i found quite funny and wasn't harassing anyone had to go (and no it wasn't me), i will be keeping my investment in SEO but im a bit fed up of this thread,,your all good guys and girls ,,but it seems moneyam are quite happy to let this person harass,,alarm,,and annoy..JB..
