Please report bugs and enhancements (BUGS)

andy.lovell - 04 Nov 2002 11:26

If you're having any problems, or want to suggest some improvements, please post below!

Level2 changes
In the last few weeks we've needed to implement some code changes to make us compliant with the LSE's rules on the access of Level2 data.

The following requirement is now in place:
You can only use 1 program on 1 computer to access Level2 on MoneyAM using a single username.

This means that you are able to view as many Level2 windows using any one particular browser, or program, that you wish, however you will not be able to use both Firefox and Internet Explorer at the same time (the same goes for using Quote Tracker or TradeSeeker at the same time as viewing it using a web browser)

If you find you're being logged off of MoneyAM's Level2 with the message 'you've logged on from another location' then check the above and make sure you're not running any other programs at the same time before reporting this as a bug.

And the pound sign still doesn't work!

Chaspebble - 02 Jan 2003 09:59 - 397 of 7315

I've found something else.

I've looked at the fundamentals page - and yes, I decided to choose Amey as the share! The dividends displayed at the bottom do not include all interims and finals - only some of them are there.

Apologies if some or all of these points have already been raised, but I don't have time to read all 395 posts of suggestions - got a proper living to earn!

Chaspebble. Thanks for the feedback will take a look.

Robber; The area is now underwater big time. Kids are having a 'whale' of a time. Roads all closed around us. Now all we need is 10ft of snow and that would make for a wonderful combined ski and water holiday:-)

PE ratios for av. and barc are miles out and no turnover figures. Think its the eps figures that are spoiling the calculation.

All aboard the ark :-)

Mike,

Date Range charts do not seem to be working, it says no data available.

Cheers

Mike
Thanks for the new password AOK now.

I tried the portfolio section and found a small bug. When adding a new share with a date that is other than the current day one must also enter a time.
This took me a few minutes to determine since if one adds only a new date it is ignored and the current date and time is taken.

I also tried entering IBM as a share and that was not found.

Below is a copy of my posting on todays traders thread which no-one seems interested to respond to..I hope there might be somone here who can respond..

Morning....oops! Afternoon all. Is anyone else having problems getting into stockwatch? Tried 3 times, each time says "not connected, refresh..". I am connected..I am here which may be on a different server! Any suggestions. Thanks.

TomL - 03 Jan 2003 10:38 - 403 of 7315

stockwatch is now working for me..4th attempt. I also see that it would have been more appropriate if I had posted to the stockwatch beta test thread..I will know for next time!

Getting logged out occaisionly, have xp plus 6 windows open including this one, 500 meg ram mem plus broadband

BrianTrayda - 03 Jan 2003 12:43 - 405 of 7315

Logout - ditto. Paul, it's THEM not us.

Chaspebble - 03 Jan 2003 12:52 - 406 of 7315

Paulis - there is an auto logout set up by MoneyAM - seems to log us out after 4 hours regardless of whether we are active or not, and after about 2 hours if inactive.

We definitely need unlimited login time!

TullettJ (MoneyAM) - 03 Jan 2003 12:56 - 407 of 7315

Hi,

The session timeout is set to 8 hours, however if you close your browser window that will also expire your session.

I have restarted the server a few times today (to get pound signs working for instance) and that may also have logged you out...

J.

Bullshare - 03 Jan 2003 12:58 - 408 of 7315

Toml; Are you still having difficulty? The servers are running fine. You might need to close a browser and reopen though!!

BrianTrayda - 03 Jan 2003 13:00 - 409 of 7315

Tis the reboots doing it then. Happened to me twice.

BrianTrayda - 03 Jan 2003 13:03 - 410 of 7315

Spoke to soon - was just logged out again - and I'm ACTIVE.

Kayak - 03 Jan 2003 13:08 - 411 of 7315

tonyjackson - 03 Jan 2003 13:08 - 412 of 7315

Andy Pandy - 03 Jan 2003 13:10 - 413 of 7315

Same happened to me twice - active and it says I'm logged in but still asks for password on refresh.

Big Cahuna - 03 Jan 2003 13:11 - 414 of 7315

Biker--

Re: the error in IE 5.1 Mac--this was the version I was using. I was only really using this to test the site (I also used Netscape for Mac and it was fine). The error still seems to comes up. If you do use Mac IE 5.1 I would be interested to know what your preference settings are, just in case it is something related to this. I must admit I've never seen anything like it though--usually javascript errors puke out a lot of code into a separate window.
