ASOS have dropped quite significantly in the past week for no particular reason and I view this as the perfect opportunity to invest as I can see them bouncing right back up to the 5.50p mark in the next 2-3 weeks. STRONG BUY!!

On Tuesday we'll have an update from online fashion retailer ASOS , whose share price has climbed a mountain, and then descended partway, over the past few years.

as a mere observer it will be very interesting to see if the figures remain sufficiently bullish to support ...... i think not, but then i'm not backing mouth with money either

we are in a growth slowing mode but its about top-end-sick range to get cool down.remaining growth is healthy enough for this level. i've got long s&p 1349 also.

markets tend to be pretty vicious when stocks go ex growth, so watch your shirt (don't lose it!)

guess the numbers must have been good as i note sp has whizzed by nearly £1 ...... i shall still just watch in amazement :-)

Online fashion firm Asos posted a 31 per cent rise in first quarter retail sales after a strong performance from the US, Australia and resilient trading in the UK.

The group said it continues to trade in line with expectations and remains positive about its outlook. Retail sales rose to £137m in the three months to June 30.

UK retail sales for the three months increased 8% and International sales jumped 49%.

CEO Nick Robertson commented: "Our UK performance was particularly encouraging given the current climate."

Growth at its International business was underpinned by a strong performance in the US, up 83%. Sales at the rest of world category bounced 61%, with most of its growth from Australia.

International sales now represent 65% of the total up from 57% last year, it said.

Asos said it continues to trade in line with expectations and retail gross margin is in line with guidance.
