Who me, MM? Chocolate wouldn't melt in my mouth..

Heyy popiepops - you got your order wrong there again :)

MightyMicro - 10 May 2005 09:15 - 3991 of 11056

choccypops: there's a load of Mumm Napa wine in my office here, several months' deliveries. Party time.

chocolat - 10 May 2005 09:18 - 3992 of 11056

Fill yer boots then!

MightyMicro - 10 May 2005 09:34 - 3993 of 11056

Absolutely!

hilary - 10 May 2005 09:52 - 3994 of 11056

Don't fill my boots!

mg - 10 May 2005 10:04 - 3995 of 11056

Cashed in my longs +33 and +31.

Off cross country to Peterborough. Will need napsack, wellies and Pretorian Guard methinks.

Dont you 2 (virtually) drink too much.

hils
Fill yer wellies then !!

MightyMicro - 10 May 2005 10:06 - 3996 of 11056

Hil: Certainly not. Your boots are alive and well and beside my desk. Alongside the Mumm Napa. Might be fun, though . . .

chocolat - 10 May 2005 10:07 - 3997 of 11056

Thought you'd fallen asleep there already :)
18803 here - looking for a new position though.

hilary - 10 May 2005 10:12 - 3998 of 11056

These wellies, mg?

legs3.jpg

Glad to hear it, MM. Btw, is there any snow in your office lest they get withdrawal symptoms?

mg - 10 May 2005 10:20 - 3999 of 11056

hils
You shouldn't do that to me, I've gone all moist - it must be the snow ;)

choccopops
Spooky - same exit - at least we finished at the same time - always a good sign ;)

Now, concentrate mg, get the napsack, those wellies and Pretorian Guards ready for the long march eastwards. There's bound to be snow in the Fens .......

Overall I think cable's heading up over the next day or so but right now I'm hanging in short 18812.

chocolat - 10 May 2005 11:49 - 4001 of 11056

Well at least it made its mind up - stopped out b/e :)

shano1 - 10 May 2005 15:20 - 4002 of 11056

Quick question from a newbie: Does anyone have any preference for who they put their trades through?

I'm using IGIndex at the moment for swing trading (sometimes keeping positions open for days), but their spreads on e.g. Jun05 are horrendous. 24 points for GBP/CHF or GBP/JPY. :-(

Who do others prefer? Any pointers appreciated!

Sue 42 - 10 May 2005 16:05 - 4003 of 11056

I use CMC s/b - no problems so far

shano1 - 10 May 2005 16:50 - 4004 of 11056

Cheers Sue, I'll take a look.

mg - 10 May 2005 18:48 - 4005 of 11056

I use Capital Spreads - used to use IGI but their spreads are crap. Only problem is that Capital Spreads are not 24 hours - which is crap. But if you're taking the long view that shouldn't be a problem.
