This Co is registered in the Caymen islands (It says here), so it is with a light touch that I am the first to post - one of the Dirs has just increased his holding to 0.25% (DYOR), so that shows great faith. It seems a new Radio-Chip is doing the rounds and soon - - - - dunno; but obviously he likes the prospects.
Try as I might, I could not see any "Nanotechnology Investments" mentioned in the RNS - so maybe they liked the name, or that was an 1-off early-investment.

Toumaz Technology Joins Continua Health Alliance
Technology, Medical Device and Healthcare Industry Leaders To Promote Interoperability Across New Personal Telehealth Systems
Abingdon, United Kingdom, May 1st 2007 - Toumaz Technology Limited today announces that it has joined the Continua Health Alliance, the key industry body aimed at promoting interoperability across emerging technology-based health and wellness solutions. The open collaborative industry group is comprised of technology, medical device and healthcare industry leaders, and is dedicated to bringing together standards and diverse technology to create new healthcare solutions in the areas of fitness, chronic disease
management, and aging independently.
Toumaz recently joined the Alliances Technical Working Group and has participated in a number of discussions centred around its Sensium system, a new ultra-low power wireless infrastructure system for health and lifestyle monitoring applications. As a full member, Toumaz will gain early access to Continua guidelines and test processes to enable the development of interoperable products and services. Members of the Alliance include
Cisco, GE, IBM, Intel, Medtronic, Motorola, Oracle, Philips, Partners Healthcare and Kaiser Permanente.
Toumazs Sensium sensor interface and transceiver platform enables intelligent, ultra-low power wireless monitoring of multiple vital signs including ECG heart rate, body temperature, respiration and activity level in real-time, via standard PDAs, cellphones and USB-enabled computers.
Toumazs vision of proactive, cost-effective personal connected healthcare is shared by the members of the Continua Alliance, comments Toumaz Technology Co-Founder and COO, Keith Errey. As the provider of a key enabling technology in the emerging personal telehealth ecosystem, it is obviously vital for Toumaz to take a role in this important organisation and support it in its aim to deliver highly integrated systems that work together to improve the quality of peoples lives.
About Sensium
The Sensium sensor interface and transceiver platform provides the enabling technology to connect the mobile individual to healthcare providers simply, affordably and unobtrusively.
The Sensium represents a technological revolution in three key areas:
Gathering real-time information, not raw data
o On-chip signal processing to intelligently extract critical information from sensors, providing real-time feedback to patients and enabling healthcare providers to focus on the important issues.
Ultra-low power
o Patented AMx technology coupled with low power radio and intelligent information handling results in an ultra-low power, body-worn solution, enabling non-intrusive, continuous monitoring.
End-to-end system
o The Sensium provides the low power radio link from the patient to the telecommunications network and into the healthcare provider's database/system, providing new levels of reassurance and enabling new service delivery models.
For healthcare professionals, this transforms the possibilities for pro-active monitoring and improved quality of care. For patients, it delivers new opportunities for lifestyle-compatible, personalised healthcare, as well as better therapeutic outcomes.

Nanoscience Future Waves Design Win
Embargoed Release: 07:00hrs Thursday 3rd May 2007
Nanoscience Inc.
(`Nanoscience' or the `Group')
Design Win by Future Waves
Nanoscience Inc., the specialist niche investor in emerging technologies with strong commercial propositions from within the growing nanotechnology sector, is pleased to announce that Future Waves UK Ltd (`Future Waves') has secured a significant design win from Pure Digital Ltd, the market leader in digital radios and wholly owned subsidiary of Imagination Technologies plc. Pure Digital is the number one supplier of radios to the UK.
In addition, Future Waves, in which Nanoscience has an approximate 29% equity interest has also been selected by Sunplus Technology Co. Ltd. to provide core technology for inclusion in a range of consumer electronic digital radios to be launched in December of this year.
With operations in the UK and Taiwan, Future Waves is a fabless manufacturer of specialist chips for digital broadcasting including the Digital Audio Broadcasting (DAB) and Digital Multimedia Broadcasting (DMB) markets. Founded in January 2005 as a joint venture between the Group's wholly owned subsidiary, Toumaz Technology Ltd (`Toumaz') and strategic Taiwanese investors, Future Waves is seeking to exploit Nanoscience's core technology IP within the aforementioned digital broadcast markets.
Further to these developments, Future Waves has received 3,000,000 of funding for working capital purposes from leading technology investment house Herald Ventures by way of convertible debt.
Current estimates for the digital broadcast markets predict mobile digital video subscriptions to grow to 125 million users by 2010 and the digital radio market to grow to 130 million users by 2010.
Paul Smith, General Manager, of PURE Digital, commented:
"Future Waves' strength in multi-standard CMOS RF solutions and technical performance of its solution makes it a valuable strategic supplier to PURE. The alignment of Future Waves' roadmap with the product roadmap of PURE also enables a long term relationship which will allow PURE to maintain its leadership position in the digital radio market."
Richard Rose, Chairman of Nanoscience, commented:
"It is with great pleasure that we are able to report on Future Waves' rapid commercial success. The markets which it is seeking to exploit are set for extraordinary growth in the coming years and its early participation in those markets with such recognized and established industry figures as PURE is a major endorsement of the commercial proposition of its technology. Furthermore, we regard its success as a very good indicator of the commercial appeal of the underlying technology currently being developed and deployed into the pharmaceutical and healthcare industries by our wholly owned subsidiary, Toumaz.
I would like to congratulate Future Waves on their success which is further proof of the Group's ability to recognize and invest in commercial technologies at key stages of their development enabling us to maximize the economic benefits of our investing activities'"
