Annoyingly it won't let me trade the shares I want to trade! Tried entering TAN, it says no such epic. Tried SPI, same response. Have tested other bigger stocks (just to see if it's working at all) and those are OK. Are AIM stocks excluded this time???

mg - 01 Feb 2007 12:51 - 9 of 105

Juzzle
You might find that it's because of the start-up rules - you have to trade within the NMS for 2 stocks worth at least 10k each - so it will, presumably be quite restrictive for the first stocks traded. Part of the game I suppose.

Juzzle,

I will get James to take a look,

Adacol - 01 Feb 2007 12:52 - 11 of 105

How can you trade SEO?
Does not make sense.

IanT(MoneyAM) - 01 Feb 2007 12:55 - 12 of 105

Adacol,

What problems are you having when you try to trade SEO?

Ian

Adacol - 01 Feb 2007 13:04 - 13 of 105

SEO...
maximum trade 600,000 (7,500)???
minimum trade 800,000 (10,000)???

Adacol - 01 Feb 2007 13:09 - 14 of 105

MYH.....same thing...max trade is lower than minimum trade!!

Juzzle - 01 Feb 2007 13:09 - 15 of 105

mg - In case it might be that, have now opened two qualifying trades over 10k each in bigger stocks - but still won't recognize or quote for TAN, SPI and some others tested. Will wait to see what James finds.

IanT(MoneyAM) - 01 Feb 2007 13:19 - 16 of 105

Adacol,

This only applies to the opening trades to validate the account. You will have to trade something else to validate and you will then be free to trade it within the 3 times NMS rule.

Ian

IanT(MoneyAM) - 01 Feb 2007 13:20 - 17 of 105

Juzzle,

TAN and SPI should now be available for you,

Ian

Adacol - 01 Feb 2007 13:20 - 18 of 105

SEO..
I was going to buy at 0.0118.....it is now 0.0135!!!!!

Adacol - 01 Feb 2007 13:21 - 19 of 105

I have traded something else!!!

IanT(MoneyAM) - 01 Feb 2007 13:22 - 20 of 105

Adacol,

I will just take a look at your account.

Ian

Juzzle - 01 Feb 2007 13:25 - 21 of 105

Yep, TAN and SPI OK now ta.

Is that thanks to a fix specific to those two stocks? Or was it a fix that releases all smaller stocks?

IanT(MoneyAM) - 01 Feb 2007 13:25 - 22 of 105

Adacol,

You have only made one trade - yoru account is therefore not validated. please refer to the rules of the competition with regard to your opening 2 trades to validate your account. Only when validated as per the rules, will you be able to trade the other stocks you have mentioned within the 3 times NMS rule.

The section you are looking for is General Rules
