soul traders - 02 Mar 2007 15:33 - 7 of 34

Cynic, LMAO re post #2. :o)

Am thinking of having a pop at ENTL. Anyone got any views?

cynic - 02 Mar 2007 15:52 - 8 of 34

GFM
Not a company i have ever followed, but i know Shares likes it and it certainly looks to have good sites and is even profitable!
Sp has taken a relative hammering in the last few days along with most others, but once prices start to turn around, could be well worth looking at

But do you not have access to dealing directly in gold through traded options or similar?
BTW, gold has plummeted $17.00 this afternoon to about $645 ..... My memory (but don't hold me to it) is that that is a good support level

ENTL
While the chart looks pretty good, i would suggest that this is very illiquid and difficult to trade.
As for its product line, i have no clue

porky - 02 Mar 2007 16:38 - 9 of 34

Buy your gold on Bullionvault.com.
Easy and simple to trade.

cynic - 02 Mar 2007 16:46 - 10 of 34

i can do via cfd, but how does Bullionvault work

micky468 - 02 Mar 2007 17:08 - 11 of 34

bullionvault is ok pay via CHAPS.or BACS. Online banking i dont think it a good time to buy gold now

cynic - 02 Mar 2007 17:10 - 12 of 34

don't think i have a gold chart available to hand, but as i said, my memory is that $645 is a good support level ...... which does NOT mean you have to throw your hat in the ring

found one but it was back to 2003! ...... $645 is well supported and $638 even more so ..... have confirmed with my chartist guru

micky468 - 02 Mar 2007 17:28 - 13 of 34

cynic this will go back down to $570 /$600 before it go's and it will hit $730

cynic - 02 Mar 2007 17:33 - 14 of 34

from where did you dredge those levels?

micky468 - 02 Mar 2007 17:52 - 15 of 34

Investors often buy gold as a safe bet when financial markets look unstable, but investors are keen to unload the metal after plunges in global equity markets this week, analysts said. Many investment funds were seen to have bought commodities, including gold, over the past month with the proceeds from stocks as Wall Street reached record highs last month.

"Gold is not glittering any longer as a safe haven," Dresdner Kleinwort analysts said in a market report.

"Commodities in general are perceived as risky assets...This asset class is just sold to reduce portfolio risk and to take profits in order to compensate losses suffered in other assets like equities,

cynic - 02 Mar 2007 17:55 - 16 of 34

Ah ..... so just your gut feeling then, which is not to say it is wrong

micky468 - 02 Mar 2007 18:00 - 17 of 34

Gold needs to close over $659.90 today to be in short term bullish trend, else expect a fall to $639 and $627 next week. Resistance is capped at $672 and $680

cynic - 02 Mar 2007 18:34 - 18 of 34

i'll certainly buy into $639, for it's close enough to $638! ..... not quite sure where $627 comes from or is that to do with time angles and the like?

micky468 - 04 Mar 2007 21:23 - 19 of 34

Ultrasis (ULT) have a look at this for me cynic ..........it will come good this year and it back by nice........Mr Brabbins added: "Ultrasis believes that with growing demands on the NHS, busy lifestyles and other daily pressures mean that computer-delivered healthcare will quickly become a key strand of Government healthcare policy.",,,,,,,,,plus lots more

cynic - 05 Mar 2007 07:52 - 20 of 34

MICK .... will try to remember ...... i traded this one myself during the summer, but have not been remotely tempted to jump back in .... and nor should you be until the markets calm down.

micky468 - 05 Mar 2007 09:13 - 21 of 34

with wt been going on the FT100 i think there will be a big market for this..............come next mouth..........lol

steveo - 05 Mar 2007 13:04 - 22 of 34

Congratulations Cynic, you've become a guru, next stop columnist for financial press.

cynic - 05 Mar 2007 13:21 - 23 of 34

heaven forbid! ..... i am merely the soothsayer proclaiming doom and gloom! ...... or much more often, just advocating that common sense prevails
