Don't think you've won the jackpot - this is company manipulation, since they can think of nothing better to do.
It's a sad reflection on the state of a sp that had been over 1 (when rec. by IC !) and the gradual slide to penny status and DW has other interests it must be.

This stock used to be fully listed and PEP-able then gradulaly it fell, went to AIM and - - - My holding is practically worthless - - - but bear in mind many will lose out as their holding cannot be "exactly" consolidated.

Am I missing something here - the current 7.5% holding is worth 1.6M, but if they invest another 1m, they only go up to 8.6%...... that's a damn expensive 1.1% of a company valued at 21m

MDY does a deal (30Aug07), with William Ransom ( they of perfumes etc.) and within a few weeks the RNSM-sp has fallen 24% - - - ooh, ooh. ...just shows that even association can - - - wash my mouth.
Grr. - and all who sail in her, too.

MDY still holding up more-or-less.
The August deal means that MDY will invest 3m in the jv. ooh.

MDY were completely aware of the Ransom situation when they invested.

The problems at ransom are what caused ransom to go for the JV and change their exec team in the first place - they had a strategy problem that the JV will solve

PW can you explain how you knew this? -
-- for my interpretation is that Ransom's downfall was mostly due to failing an Inspection and this was Reported some while after the JV...indeed I'd be surprised even MDY would associate themselves with any business with such a black-mark(as Ransom has now, IMHO) - - MDY may be judged incompetent, but not stupid, eh?.

Still, I note that MDY is on-track to halve punter's investments for another year. Grr.
