Baobab Resources kicks off scout drilling at Tete project

Small Cap News reported that Baobab Resources has got underway with a scout drilling program on parts of the Massamba Group area of its Tete magnetite ilmenite project.

During 2009, Baobab has focused its attention on exploring the Massamba Group, which comprises a cluster of 5 prospects including Chitongue Grande, Chimbala and South Zone.

In September the company released a 47.7million tonne inferred resource statement at Chitongue Grande and has now launched a 12,000 meters combined diamond and reverse circulation drilling program to test the Chimbala and South Zone prospects over the coming year.

The program has been designed to assess the 400 million tonne to 700 million tonne exploration target interpretation over the wider Massamba Group.

Mr Ben James technical director of Baobab said that the company was pleased to have been able to get the scout drilling underway so quickly after the conclusion of the first exploration phase and before the start of the wet season.

He said that 2010 will be an exciting year for Baobab as the Massamba project continues to develop and shareholders may expect a regular flow of news as results come to hand.

I'm holding since last week and pleased to see a nice steady rise. Lots of news expected this month--this could be the share of 2010!

I must be barking mad but I've bought into the "bow wow" stock as well.....Kenmare resources (KMR) are not far away in that part of the world and that should pick up as well this year....I can see this being taken over....further down the line....

Now this is taking off....

Heard a few good things about Bao and sentiment is very hot for them.

Think there is an easy 30-50% or more to be made this month in this stock.

Bought back in today...in the nick of time, by the look of things....

my younger son holds these and has done very well from them .... perhaps i should adopt him as my teacher!

The market cap is tiny....and things seem to be moving fast in that part of the world.
