HUGH MOUTAIN OF IRON ORE W/AFRICA (AFF)

rekirkham - 11 Jan 2013 07:47 - 4 of 16

Sound a bit like Baobab ( BAO ), which is in Tete over the other side of Africa -
Miles from a port and market.

Ferrexpro is in Europe - in production and near to markets and usually on low PE ratio.

Ferrexpro turn the iron ore into more refined pellets.
Baobab say they hope to produce pig iron for export.

As "niceonecyril" says - do not expect exports any time soon -

Not sure how much research noc and rek have done on AFF.

AFF is one of the cheapest explorers in the world, yes probably because of the railroad issue.

However, I don't think the market has appreciated that Hanlong (Chinese), are about to take over Sundance (February this year) who will build the railroad which will run along side AFF's Nkout. AFF has already had assurances from the Cameroon government, that it can use proposed transport links.

One of AFFs other licences Ntem is close to the port.

£1.40! There's no way the BOD would let it go for that. Based on the resources at Sundance next door and the value Hanlong have agreed to pay Sundance, AFF's value is north of £3, especially when you take account of the £60m in cash that AFF has!

The £1.40 you mention might be for Nkout only, which will still leave the other licences and the £60m for AFF.

We will find out soon enough.

Why is there a green line on the above chart which goes up to about 600p? It's making the whole thing re-scale.

If you look at the takeover price of Sundance Resources, (75 cents per tonne of contained iron) and apply that to Afferro, you get about 600 million dollars or maybe $5.50 per share.

Afferro is closer to the coast than Sundance.
The railway line (which will go from the port of Mamelles (near Kribi) to Sundance's mines) will pass about 20 miles from Afferro's properties.

Question: when you build a railway line, where do you get the steel from? Mmmm... import, so it'll be arriving in the port. Ergo, the line will be built from the port going Eastwards, and the first thing it will pass will be Afferro's property.

To think nad we jumped, earkier an SP of 100p against the present 82p? Not sure why they should need to update the same news, released 3 days ago??

Because Bloomberg published an article yesterday, and repeated it today, saying that Jindal had pulled out of talks with Afferro, thus scaring people off and making them sell.

Afferro and/or Jindal probably thought that they didn't want lies out there in the market.

By the way, the share price today seems to have gone flat for long periods. Is trading suspended for a couple of hours or is something funny going on with the stock market's prices feed?

I like those horse burgers from Aldi, but I prefer My Lidl Pony.

I ate a bad burger and it tasted absolutely foal. It gave me the trots.
However, someone said that they taste better with French fillies.
