Free to attend, the Retirement Money Show is now in its second year and aims to educate, empower and inform everyone interested having a financially-comfortable time in later life.

Our speakers will be covering topics that are relevant to both those already in retirement and those who are still in work.

Both groups have big decisions to make with regards to managing money. Retirees now have the flexibility to access their pension funds as they wish; younger individuals increasingly accept that they won’t be able to rely on the State in later life and so must put aside money now in preparation of the years ahead.

Having an effective strategy to address both situations is not easy, which is why we felt the need to create a conference that can provide answers to your key questions.

Knowing how to manage your pension pot – either in preparation for later life or during retirement – is one of the big challenges facing millions of people today and a central theme to the Retirement Money Show. It is one of a number of topics that we will discuss on the day, so come along to the event armed with questions as there will be a wide range of people happy to talk to you.

You will have the opportunity to ask questions to most of the speakers on the main stage and to interact with specialists in tax, funds, ISAs, SIPPs, property and providers of financial news and data on the exhibition stands.

Some of the big names already lined up to speak at the event include: BBC Radio 4 Money Box presenter Paul Lewis who will share his thoughts on modern retirement, John Sergeant, well known Journalist and Broadcaster who will talk about work and life for an over 70 year old, plus Mike Morrison, Head of Platform Marketing at AJ Bell Youinvest, will address the key pension rules. Many more speakers to be announced!

If you are new to the world of investing, don’t think this event is only for financially-savvy people with years of experience in buying stocks, shares and funds. We are purposely creating an event that will serve the needs of both amateurs and experienced investors.

Journalists from the SHARES team will be on hand to talk to you about the stock market and we will have lots of industry experts and exhibitors either speaking on stage or having exhibition stands where you will be able to learn more about a wealth of topics.

The Retirement Money Show is free to attend; you simply need to register in advance to secure your ticket.
