universal direct (UDI)

gardyne - 29 Jun 2003 08:30

Any thoughts on this company was ex Medi@Invest after reverse takeover.Deals in mainly the purchase of branded consumer electronics and other durable goods.Has this company still got its share in Callserve? What was the deal sharewise in the reverse takeover and when are new share certificates due.

With so much interest on other shares, may I return to Universal Direct?
Yes?
Splendid! I was thinking that if they are nincompoops at doing whatever they turn their hand to, perhaps they'd like to offer a share cleaning service - rather like dry-cleaning except the shares come back with added vigor and can be framed, (or not depending upon the stains on your wallpaper etc.)
For shares that are somewhat long on promise and short on delivery this would be a wonderful way of increasing Market awareness. If UNI opened some small stores in prestige locations, the Public would see the old certificates drying (in the window) and this would create demand - indeed it might be possible to sell them at a profit. That would release your "bottom Drawer" for some tired ol' mags like "The Eagle" and similar which I gather are now more valuable than the paper they are printed on: Unlike UNI.
Can't we shift out the Management and get some decent Monkeys?

No less than David Wright, founder director of CITIGATE,and Christian Williams of CANTERBURY FOODS.They are already exploring significant acquisition opportunities. Will it be in the PR or food industries?

Another heavyweight joins the party. None other than BOB MORTON of SOUTHWINDS,who managed to buy 300000 stock before suspension. Expect plenty of action when trading resumes.gardyne
