ended day up at 16%..not bad considering volume was low, with Harrier (IT security specialist) having a small market value the share does tend to move considerably on low volumes, which can be good or bad depending on which side of the wave you're in...

Trading statement



Harrier Group plc ('the Company'), a leading provider of information protection
solutions, announces that trading during the first half of 2003 has improved and
the Company expects to report a small post tax profit for the six months ended
30 June 2003. These results are expected to be released on 4 September 2003.


Whilst market conditions remain difficult, the Directors are cautiously
optimistic that the business will continue to improve during the second half of
the year.

I'm not always lucky, but when I am, touch wood it's a cracker,

One thing I have learned is no matter what the brokers/boards say etc...ALWAYS do your own research...always, and know your stuff fundamentals/tech analysis etc..at the same time however, and use tools if you require, spend 3 hrs researching n reading if the case be, but be convinced when you purchase, you feel 70-80% confident, and not 70/80% doubtful about taking the plunge...

Regards to Harrier I envisage todays rise continuing into tomorrow, large trades (above 10000+) going through this afternoon paying 27p/28+, back in the wild days it once reachd 10 quid, however that was the different era...however 1.00- 2.00 down the line is feasible if the company goes onto perform and trade well, and win deals and contracts...or if director purchase more shares down the line...

Changing the subject a little...you may or may not hold..

My hunch tells me New media spark will certainly lift off next week, 2 reasons for this, review this weekend in papers about company results, followed by Private investors purchasing SHARES MAG, noticing it was tipped, and also this was a tip of the year, by one media source, could have been this mag also or either Daily Mail column...I'll get back to you on that one...

If anyone bought these at 19p last week when I noticed them, they would be sitting on a 50% increase I beleive...

and the results are still not out....!

I wonder if this coming week they will continue...buys were going through at 30/31p at 20,000 block...so 31-50p range could be next stop short term, and also with ftse at new high this yr could also help them to recover further...it's all exciting stuff...
