Sonsini appointed interim chairman of NYSE.

Lawrence W Sonsini, chairman and CEO of Palo Alto law firm Wilson, Sonsini, Goodrich and Rosati has been appointed interim chairman of the NYSE to replace Dick Grasso. Sonsini (age 62) was first appointed to the board of the NYSE in 2001 and is a corporate securities lawyer.
