kantona - 04 Oct 2003 21:53

this share has been on the upward trend recently .. i am wondering if any one has knowledge of this one and whether it is worth investing in.. i have been out of the shares game sine the dot.com bubble burst and now looking to get back in..
the follwoing is info i have got from other sites .. just to give an insight into this .
The Evolution Group offers a range of financial services through its three subsidiaries: Evolution Beeson Gregory, which provides investment banking and other services for institutional investors; Christows, a retail brokerage and fund management firm; and IP2IPO Limited, which sets up partnerships to commercialize intellectual property

LONDON (SHARECAST) - Evolution today announced that it is planning to float IP2IPO, its subsidiary that helps transform academics ideas into profitable businesses.

The flotation is expected to raise about 25m, and would value the group at between 100m and 110m.

IP2IPO chief executive David Norwood also announced that he has sold 1.25m shares in Evolution at 80p per share to rake in 1m, which he then plans to reinvest in IP2IPO.

Norwood retains an interest of 3m shares in Evolution, of which he is a non-executive director, however his decision to sell over 25% of his holding could act as an inducement to new investors.
