Hello! GB Group holders!! (GBG)

stockbunny - 24 Oct 2003 15:06

Up at this moment by 3p - about to try and find out why!

grooverjr - 24 Oct 2003 16:28 - 4 of 187

There was also an interesting article albeit a bit old by Tim Freeborn in Shares on the 29th May.

stockbunny - 24 Oct 2003 17:07 - 5 of 187

Ahhh so maybe it was the IC recommendation than.....interesting, haven't seen the closing price hopefully it held the earlier gain...

Chelsea1957 - 24 Oct 2003 21:40 - 6 of 187

Good to see some movement here, been holding the stock for the last couple of months without any real excitement. In it for the long term though, this is where i think the big gains are to be made!

stockbunny - 27 Oct 2003 14:52 - 7 of 187

Going up again a little today!!!! Current 24p...But best to keep the champers on ice for a while yet!

Global Nomad - 04 Nov 2003 11:32 - 8 of 187

Seems like 24, 25 is some sort of upper limit recently, any reasons why? or where it might go if it breaches this level.....

stockbunny - 06 Nov 2003 14:31 - 9 of 187

Don't know to be honest....But a break through that 24p brick wall
would be nice. They are due to report end of the month I think
fingers crossed for than....

stockbunny - 16 Nov 2003 11:37 - 10 of 187

It's risen well end of last week - let's hope it continues...
Results due out Wednesday

stockbunny - 16 Nov 2003 11:39 - 11 of 187

gardyne - 16 Nov 2003 12:24 - 12 of 187

Long term holder myself but medium term good results and more contract news on wednesday will put this share on higher levels.

stockbunny - 02 Jan 2004 11:53 - 13 of 187

We are on the rise again and looking at the trades there have been some
meaty purchases this morning (50,000 for example)
Is there some news or speculation that's yet to surface fully
I wonder....??
33.75p terrific! Roll on 34p!

gardyne - 02 Jan 2004 14:25 - 14 of 187

Looks like you are right, stockbunny 34p for bid now.

stockbunny - 02 Jan 2004 14:51 - 15 of 187

Wonder if it's worth sitting here now and saying
34p terrific! Roll on 35P!!!!
Well you never know, stranger things have happened!!

Oakapples142 - 03 Mar 2004 09:05 - 16 of 187

Any idea why the gradual fall. I have been in since 15p. Great pick (its my initials!!) Reluctant to take profits.

stockbunny - 03 Mar 2004 14:49 - 17 of 187

Don't know of any reason for the gradual fall or to take
profits currently IMHO - it has seemed to bounce slowly up
and down within a certain band over the last few months, my
personal theory (BUT that's all it is!) is that short-term
investors put money in thinking it will do something quickly,
find it hasn't after a relatively short while and take the
money back out to put somewhere else where they think more
speedy profits can be made...just my thoughts though!!
I'm holding in there and congratulations for getting in there
early on at 15p OakApples142 - a good 'spot', you beat me, I
went in at 19p!!!

Oakapples142 - 03 Mar 2004 17:16 - 18 of 187

Thanks for that Stockbunny. I guess its my parents that should take the credit for providing me with the GB initials - I am staying in

stockbunny - 04 Mar 2004 14:15 - 19 of 187

Up a fraction today!!
BTW noticed another software firm ALN had also dropped off in
the last few days, may be no connection or it could be the
sector went through a not-so-good patch.

Pete Adams - 05 Mar 2004 09:32 - 20 of 187

The sudden drop on tuesday may have been due to a general sell off of technology shares by big institutional investors which has been going on over the past 6 weeks. Some other small tech companies seem to have suffered in the same way, even though there has been no apparent change in the fundamentals. The information technology sector to which GB Group belongs has recently lost relative strength against the FTSE after a long period of outperformance. I'm holding onto my shares as long term prospects still look very good.

Oakapples142 - 05 Mar 2004 09:38 - 21 of 187

Great Start to-day 8%up at 9.30am. Lets hope GB continues to stand for "Great Buy"

stockbunny - 05 Mar 2004 14:19 - 22 of 187

Rats! I wasn't around that early today so didn't see the rise,
but will check now and hopefully it has held!

stockbunny - 05 Mar 2004 14:53 - 23 of 187

It has held (quick fanfare!!)nice to see!!
