little woman - 23 Dec 2003 09:08 - 6 of 28

Morning all - whoops had to go to close shorts in STAN & LLOY which finally dropped!

I'm in & out today as I must finally do some Christmas shopping (I hate shopping) so don't want to leave much open.

Happy Christmas & a prosperous Trading New year to everyone

Douggie - 23 Dec 2003 09:22 - 7 of 28

mornin all

Melnibone - 23 Dec 2003 09:38 - 8 of 28

Morning all,

Just a flying visit today.
Mrs @ Miss Melnibone both down with 'coughy, fluey, buggy 'things
and I'm running around playing at Florence Nightingale.

Looks like I'll be cooking Christmas dinner this week.
Nows there's a delight that they can look forward to.;-)

Suppose I better go and watch one of those Delia cooking
programs on UK-TV.
I prefer watching Nigella myself, but the figure conscious
female Melnibones reckon she uses too many creamy things.

(Why do they think I watch it for the cooking tips?) :-))

A good day for taking TP's advice and standing aside, I think.

Melnibone.

Douggie - 23 Dec 2003 10:35 - 9 of 28

Not impressed with D4F - they are quoting really crap prices!

Maggot - 23 Dec 2003 12:30 - 16 of 28

Little Woman. Saw your post in Traders' Room. Wasn't quite quick enough on IOT - trying at 371 but doesn't look as if I will get any. But got a feeling it will go up after Xmas when people read the newspapers. Another one missed.

little woman - 23 Dec 2003 12:35 - 17 of 28

It may be still worth getting some if you can, still seems to be going up: -

Maggot - 23 Dec 2003 12:41 - 18 of 28

Yes, but at 378? I think I'll wait to see if it drops on profit-taking later today. You did well to pick up on the trades before the price shot up. It's not one I watch.

little woman - 23 Dec 2003 12:57 - 19 of 28

I don't think its going to drop in the short term. I tried to buy a lot more, but couldn't get a decent price. So I broke the order down, into 4 smaller ones and got my price!

little woman - 23 Dec 2003 13:23 - 20 of 28

News now out to the world! http://moneyam.uk-wire.com/cgi-bin/articles/200312231250436094T.html

Druid2 - 23 Dec 2003 13:28 - 21 of 28

little woman - You did well to sell your ETL's some weeks ago at around 70p. Today price is 40p and I have been adding to my longs. Keeping my fingers crossed that they will recover.

Crocodile - 23 Dec 2003 13:29 - 22 of 28

Very quiet but did a little long on John Wood & Shorted Logica

Fundamentalist - 23 Dec 2003 13:34 - 23 of 28

Well done on getting in on IOT LW, I looked at doing so last week but decided against - oops!!! Can't win them all!

Wishing all a merry xmas and a profitable 2004. (I know its supposed to be prosperous)
