Personally recommend ComDirect. VERY reliable.

I also use idealing - no problems at all - basic but 10.00 per trade plus 5.00 per quarter must be good value

regards ken

Used iDealing at one time but was not impressed with their service; switched
to comdirect and have never looked back since.

comdirect very good - ISA through them with no probs. Sharecrazy ordinary account very good too - but I keep forgetting about the logout feature

Just to add to my post above, had a limit order in with ComDirect which didn't trigger when it should have - contacted them next day and they bought and credited my acc with the difference - no fuss, just put it right. Exactly what I need.

Using Comdirect for a Sip for 3months. Very efficient and reasonable charges.

Research facillities are good.

Previously used C Schwab for Isas,Peps and ordinary holdings. Found them very good and helpful.

But I am now horrified by Dealing costs and Management charges when reviewing them since Barclays have taken them over.

Will transfer these holdings to Comdirect when I think it reasonable to go into cash.

Anybody have opinions to short term direction and levels of the fts. ie. June, July, August.

Regards

And basis of opinions.

I agree with Kaytom1, I have used idealing for nearly a year now and am very happy with their overall pricing policy+service.

At 1st i had reservations that they were internet only but if you are unable to deal online (for order size for example reasons) they do provide an emergency phone number to use.

Regards Stan.
