Finally if anyone has a books they are prepared to bring to the meeting, and lend to others attending (for 1.) could you post the title, and details? Anyone coming can show their interest in a particular book by posting - so books don't have to be brought to the meeting on the off chance! I'll try and keep track of it and e-mail everyone in due course...............

We had hoped to have a speaker at this meeting, but unless we get some additional people coming, it will not be worth having a more formal meeting.

So if anyone else thinks they will be able to come, please let me know asp, as the meeting is only a week off.

I have only just started to use this site and am new to trading. Is the meeting open to anyone or do the same people meet? I would love to come but it is a little way, I'm in Caterham so if you're open to novices, let me know!

Hi Amberjane. It's open to all. You need M25 to J12 (M3) and then J5 of the M3 for Hook. 4th exit off roundabout. 1st exit (straight on) at next roundabout. You will see a Tesco on your right before railway bridge. Go over railway bridge and entrance to The Raven Hotel is immediately after the bridge on your right. It is about half a mile from the M3.

I'm working early evening but could make it by 9.30, will I have missed everything by then? Being new to this game it would be nice to meet a few like minded people - it gets lonely slaving over a hot lap top! Hope to see you all at the Raven next wednesday - better late than never!

I didn't see a start time mentioned anywhere so can someone let me know. I'm sure everyone, but I will for one, still be there at 9.30 (I'm late everywhere). In fact I have a problem with this early morning news I'm supposed to look at at 7.00am! I'm what you call a LATE trader!!!

Just back from the meeting - thanks to everyone who turn up - it was lovely to talk (& eat) in a non smoking environment!

Look like we'll be having the next meeting at the same place - they have a room we can use so we can have some privacy

I will sort out a date for the next meeting soon, and start the thread to give everyone plenty of time to put it into their dairies.
