Share Tips (UPS)

Happy1 - 07 Aug 2004 22:12

As some of you know Master RSI has a nice thread where stocks can be tipped and all can subsequently follow. We have nothing here that I have seen so i thought it a good idea to maybe start a new thread especially for that purpose.

I do not envisage managing it such as the UPS thread but leave it an open forum where people can tip stocks which they think has potential and the reasons why.

Good Luck fellow investors ;-)

PTY, SPD, DDT and maybe DTY

This thread could be a ramping heaven. Lets not go down that road. I personally am going to stay loyal to CFA Capital this is still by far the most likely growth story around at the moment. Results round the corner

I notice that the bid price of reversus has risen just a bit today. Does anyone know why? There does not seem to have been any buying.

egad - 09 Aug 2004 19:50 - 7 of 33

Sorry-I meant the offer price.

Play.com and The Sun get together for DVD giveaway
Mona Lisa: one of the titles on offer
Joe Lepper, Brand Republic 08:00 24-08-2004
LONDON Home entertainment website Play.com and The Sun are giving away classic movies on DVD in a deal thought to be the largest newspaper promotion of an online brand.

British gangster movies 'The Long Good Friday' and 'Mona Lisa' are being given away this week with Wim Wenders' cult classic 'Paris Texas'.

To claim their free DVD, Sun readers are directed to a special page on the Play.com site, where they will be asked to key in a password printed in the newspaper.

The deal has been developed by SP Partnerships, the promotions and partnership arm of SP Holdings.

Chris Reed, the managing director of SP Partnerships, said: "This is a fantastic example of how old and new brands can work together to target young consumers."

My nap selections are- HNR, OIL, PCI, SIA, VOG and SHEL. As a portfolio it will outperform the market by a very substantial margin and make you very wealthy into the bargain. This is not intended as a ramp.

mickeyskint - 06 Sep 2004 17:02 - 21 of 33

Over what time frame?

daves dazzlers - 06 Sep 2004 17:06 - 22 of 33

dont think there is one is there ?

mickeyskint - 06 Sep 2004 18:31 - 23 of 33

I think BP is a much better bet than SHEL long term. Untill SHEL sorts out it's out of date boardroom I think it will continue to suffer from the crabs and only move sideways. It's only saving grace is the dividend.
