Why no mention ?????????????????????/ (API)

bigbobjoylove - 08 Nov 2004 08:45

These were over 7 in their hayday and making 17 mill, whilst they're aint returning there yet they're worth more than 30 mill market cap imho.Level 2 at present 4 v 1,should breakout any moment.

LONDON (AFX) - API Group PLC said its full year results are likely to beat
market forecasts with an operating profit ahead of last year's level.
In a pre-close trading statement ahead of its year to September results
announcement, due Nov 23, the producer of packaging materials said it expects to
report full year operating profit before goodwill amortisation and exceptional
items ahead of the 0.6 mln stg reported a year ago. It said it will also report
net debt reduced from its level at the end of the first half.
When API reported a first half to March loss of 0.6 mln stg, it said it
expected a return to profit in the second half, but did not know whether this
would translate to a full year profit.
However, since the end of the first half, "good progress has been made in
many areas", API said.
It said its improvement validates its strategy of concentrating on
reflective surface packaging materials, and said that discussions are underway
with "a number of interested parties" on the disposal of its non-core Converted
Products division.

Jan07 =85p. . . . . . This stock is looking like Carelessness on the part of Execs - Turnover is well above Mkt Cap, yet losses are enormous - seems they aren't making something that "suits" their style and the customers have "pricing-power".....

Maybe I'll wait until the sp drops a bit further, I'm in no hurry.
