Eurotunnel-Time to get back in? (ETL)

profitmaker - 10 Nov 2004 14:23

Management are predicting a profit in 2007. ETL has been through a few battles and survived. Price is at rock bottom. The only way is up. All these factors point to a revival in share price. I wouldn't like to put a figure on it because this could fly. I know it's low key and not too sexy but I have money on it being a recovery stock.

Anyone got any thoughts?

The only sensible opportunity in this stock is to utilize the tunnel by placing ALL EUROCRATS, THE BRITISH GOVERNMENT AND HANGERS ON in that very tunnel (which we all rent for a peppercorn sum) and SEALING BOTH EXITS UNTIL THEY ALL PROMISE TO TELL THE TRUTH AND ONLY THE TRUTH.

Heavy volume yesterday and today. Something is going on. MMs are building up holdings. I'm in and it was a bit impulsive but it could be a winner. watch this space.

Eurotunnel shareholder Miguet faces sanction by AMF - report
AFX

PARIS (AFX) - Nicolas Miguet, the activist shareholder who is seeking to prevent the confirmation of Jacques Gounon as chairman of Eurotunnel SA/PLC, faces sanction by bourse regulator AMF for breach of market rules, La Tribune newspaper reported without naming its sources.

The AMF, which also plans sanctions against Francois Gontier, a former associate of Miguet, and is currently considering exactly what charges to bring against the two men before opening a formal sanction process, the business daily said.

Miguet is campaigning to raise enough votes to block ratification of Gounon's appointment at Eurotunnel's June 17 AGM.

Miguet was also one of the organisers of a shareholder rebellion which voted out the previous Eurotunnel board at the last AGM in April 2004.
