016622, If you read the RNS carefully, you will see so much upside to this stock.
As far as SP in the future 5+next year once production of the 3 wells to be drilled are up and running, 10+2008 imvho(ref. to Peter Levine comments).
From todays RNS,
Substantial Techincal and Commercial upside within 5 fields.
In addition a number of prospects are under review which could "Substantially"
increase these numbers.

If you failed to bring up article on above, go to thisismoney and click on news for 18th.
Quote from article,"This has moved us into a different league" said CEO Peter Levive,as analysts reckoned the reserves assessments put it on par with London
based companies Palladin, JKX and Burren.

Seems theres plenty of press interest in this company, hopefully will help
push the SP well above 4. Tomorrow looks like being an interesting day.

business news.
Should help things along.

With the early price settling down(maybe a shake?), still a good rise on the day.
20000 to sell, 3000 to buy, would suggest they like this stock.
House broker ABN put a price of 10.5 on these at $30bo,
23,300,000 shares, many held by institutions, with other prospects and the
likelyhood of reserves increasing as time goes by theres not much more for me to
say, other than i believe 2008 will see the true value.
Haven't a clue what that might be except a great deal more than today's

Still only 4 to buy, with a realistic 1.5 for a barrel of oil, which works out at
10.5(based upon $30bo, $40+ would seem a more in keeping with the present oil
shortage) this seems to be well undervalued.
Along with up to 2000bopd in 2006 and other exciting prospects, i am happy
to be holding this share and when possible top up.
Another share worth checking out is VOG (might start up a thread?)

IEC today placed12.5million shares at 4 or 54%, these were snapped
up by 2-0pm, proof of the potential of this company. P Levine stated by the end of 2008 hoping for 20000bopd. This is clearly simIlar to Burren which is valued at
over 900million.
The placing will allow us to accelerate our drilliing programme and leverage the substantail technical and commercial upside identified within 5 specific fields in
the Oblask region of Western Siberia. It will also enable us toreview a number of prospects which could "Substantually increase our reserve estimates".
VOG also up today.

All, I got in Wednesday and bought more yesterday.
This is going to be huge.
Taken from ADVFN Poster Robbie :157 million barrels of oil, huge reserve upside potential, a 50 million placing that was done with 2-3 hours and an oil price of over $50 when $30 still makes IEC cheap. If anyone sells now they need their heads examined.
Not unreasonably this is being compared as the possible next Burren. If you want a comparable valuation then in 2008 when 20,000 bopd is forecast then IEC should be 25 - 30 before factoring in any exploration upside.

UP 20p today , this in spite of A Capelson selling 2,000,000 shares reported late on Friday. Believed to satisfy institutional demand? What will the SP if we get positive results from tha 5 wells, which are due news at any moment.

016622 More like bloody cheap.Remember prior to fund
raising Broker put a price of 10.50p
even then works out at over 8.
Up another 17.5p today.
Hopefully 5 tomorrow?
Rumours abound, RNS imminent?
Block 69 favorate to give up flow rates.
Blocks 70 & 77 also should be updating progress with results.

trifle conservative.

I see that there are a few sells going through today. Perhaps this is investors taking profits. I shan't be one of them! Loads more to come for the reasons you have given!
