In the US last night, the Dow closed up 2 points at 10,882.15 with the Nasdaq ahead 13.41 points at 2,276.87 and the S&P500 marginally higher at 1,273.48.

Today in Asia, the Nikkei has ended the day up 2.84 points at 16,428.21, while the Hang Seng ended the morning down 7.66 points at 15,263.47.

Oil prices edged lower in Asian trade, New York's main contract, light sweet crude for delivery in February, was down 3 cents at $62.76 a barrel from $62.79 in New York where it had lost 63 cents.

little woman - How is your Investment Club doing these days?

Good morning Druid2,

The Investment club is still going, from 14 members we are down to 10, but hope to pick up 2 new members in the next few month. All our new money is going into Premium Bonds! We just appointed a second member trustee to purchase additional premium bonds and we have almost reach the limit with the member trustee who has been buying on our behalf.

Are you in an Investment club? I can't remember I'm afraid. I do remember you used to be into eurotunnel? Still an invester?
